Commission for
shadowdath who is continuing his series of my Zodiac characters and villains dealing with the UNF, a terrorist group of normals that hate all supers and use special ropes to rob them of their powers. Were the villains bait for Virgo or did she just stumble on them by accident? Not really sure but she is about to get involved.

I remember when I first started drawing the Zodiac comic, I noticed that all of my female characters had the exact same body just with a few changes to limbs and heads but their proportions were nearly identical and that was because I still needed some practice drawing females. I try to make them different now for variety and to challenge myself. I always imagined Slaver to be thin of build and for Virgo to have a fairly slender build as well. Basilisk was intended to have a strong athletic build. I think I do better now at this. BTW my guys all used to look very similar as well. they were all mid-tier body builders for the most part. Even the characters who did not exercise were often pretty muscular like Libra. Please let me know what you think.

I'd agree, but with the caveat that the character has to be interesting, otherwise the body type doesn't make any difference. Example: DC's Manhunter was hailed for having a more realistic female body, but that attention to realism fell flat for me because she reads like 'single mom stereotype #3456'. Compare that with Image's Ant, who was designed with fan service very clearly at the forefront, but her character of a super who's psychological issues have rendered her unable to make sense of who she is or where she came from makes for far more engrossing reading.
That may just be me though.

It’s always good to show difference in body types, especially in the characters don’t work out excessively, though of course in Libra’s case he can change his body type if needed.
The trap itself is interesting, it doesn’t look like a bomb as suggested but once the timer counts down the hatch opens and we’ll, the nooses take a hold.
