Hello all, and welcome to the user-group devoted to what is doubtlessly the greatest furry movie of all time... The Lion King!

This page was created for all Lion King fans of FA to unite under one group. It was very surprising to discover that at the time of making this group, no one had a singular meeting point for us, despite it's overwhelming popularity throughout the fandom. We know that for many others, we would not have discovered the fandom if not for this movie making itself known in our lives. 

Over the 20 years since The Lion King has been with us, many stories have became known to us of the very profound, unique and amazing ways this movie had changed it's viewers lives. Even if you're not a fan of the movie (and, WTF is wrong with you, I might ask) one cannot deny the impact that this one movie has had on the fandom, our culture, and the world at large. It is a shame, therefor, that The Lion King Does not have it's own little niche here on FurAffinity... Until now.

Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, lions and lionesses, and everything else in-between, I present to you  lionkingfurrs, the first FA user group dedicated to those of you whose lives have been touched in some small way by this iconic animated story... "Your King, Has returned."

A Lion King-themed FA page! That's incredible! I love the film so much! I bet you've seen the sequel a couple times too? Man, that was such a great expansion of the TLK lore! Do you agree?
