Silvia, on a scale of 1-10, how hard is it not eating Malic at any given time?

It varies wildly. Sometimes I look at him and my hunger immediately jumps, and it’s hard to not devour him on the spot, and other times he just makes me smile, and I couldn’t imagine eating him – though I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to try. I guess to answer your question, I would say most of the time I’m anywhere from 5 to 7. I can go below or above that, but I probably spend more time above 7 than below 5; which is a shame because he deserves so much better, but I just can’t stand to let such a wonderful meal go.

Speaking of which, I appreciate you coming to ask me a question, but I can’t help notice you’re a fox yourself. I would Love it if you join me for lunch.

Malic: Does it ever bother you that Silvia ate/probably will eat other foxes? Presumably sapient ones? Not sure how much special solidarity you've got there but I'd have a hard time accepting it.

Yeah, I don’t like to think about it. I don’t like to think about it happening to anyone, but knowing how much she loves eating foxes, it’ll be hard not to put myself in their paws. Especially considering that, as much as we are friends, I am her favorite of her favorite food, so whatever she does with them is probably what she’ll do with me, and that’s… disheartening.

Sorry, she actually just ate a fox a little bit ago, and now she demands fox belly rubs from the outside too. Heh, I’m not looking forward to this. You should probably leave before she realizes there’s another fox around here.

I have a question for Malic too! You wouldn't happen to be able to talk her into letting me go would you? It's... it's dark and hot... and it's starting to hurt in here!

I looked at Silvia's massive form, laid out on her back. Her tongue poking out past her thin black lips, over the spires of her teeth. Her legs surrounded her deceptively flat, yet fluffy belly, as four crooked spires. With my hands having barely rubbed her stomach, and her prey only just starting to struggle the look of satisfied bliss was already taking over.

To Silvia: Wouldn't it be so less interesting as a friendship if Malic wasn't a fox at this point? It would seem you've all been able to learn so much more about your inner selves .... Even literally.. and seeing how far and strong friendship can be despite such a complex issue, it's seemed quite beneficial.

Perhaps it would be a little less interesting, but it would be far longer. Most of the things I like about Malic don’t have to do with him being a fox – they mostly focus on his personality and how well he’s handled the honestly terrifying situation he’s in. Yes, him being a fox has put him in a position to show me the quality of his character far faster than normal, but I would’ve had time to learn his character anyway.

The problem I have is that him being a good friend, and him being a tasty fox are completely separate, and degrade each other. We haven’t really known each other that long. It feels like forever ago, but I only caught him about two weeks ago. And in that short time, I’ve really come to care for the little guy. If he were any other creature, I could see keeping him for years and years, and even granting him his freedom at some point. A tear rolls along her muzzle But I know what a wonderful meal he is, and I could never let a meal like that go uneaten. Because I have to, and want to make him a meal someday, our friendship will be cut short. And because our friendship is strong, and he is so kind, and good, I will always have a feeling of guilt, souring the memory of my best meal.
