Surely the "Calton Radio" station has nothing to do with the area apart from the same name?

I was raised in the Calton during the 1950s and 60s, everyone I went to school with has a not only a good job but many of them careers, they all live in the suburbs have brought up good families and lead good lives. Maybe if Thenew Housing Association and the like changed their policy and didn't give three quarters of their housing stock to people on benefits, the area would stand a chance. It's now 2008 and how things have changed, the whole area is thankfully being regenerated, it was a red light area when we were young but it was a great place to grow up and was sadly neglected by the City Fathers for far too many years. —Preceding [[Wikipedia:Signatures|unsigned]] comment added by [[Special:Contributions/195.11.198.1|195.11.198.1]] ([[User talk:195.11.198.1|talk]]) 14:28, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
