Turning point part 2:experimentation



I woke up with a splitting migraine headache wondering what happened.
I had no idea where I was or who I was and was completely confused and worried because of that. I checked myself out to see well I had scales, and wings.  I looked like something that stepped off the stuffed animal shelf in a toy store and came to life and that's what really confused me. I had a bright blue body and hands, my belly though was white up to my chest, to top it off I had a rainbow on my stomach, the inside of my wings were bright red with bright blue ridges, I also saw that I had brown hair on my head and for some reason this struck me as wrong, though I couldn't tell why that was, two horns pointed out of my head, to top that off I had white claws on my hands and feet, though I couldn't get a good look at my face, I knew about the brown hair because some of it was in my eyes and I could feel the horns.
At first I couldn't tell what I was, I tried to think of a name for what I was, but that made my headache worse, which only made me more frustrated, the more I tried to remember that simple name the worse my headache became, then my vision blurred and I nearly blacked out, that's when I stopped deciding I didn't want to pass out though still frustrated as to why I couldn't tell what I was. Then I heard a voice, weak but there
'dragon' it said 'that's what you are'
The simple fact that a voice, which I knew nothing about, had talked to me confused me so badly that I started to worry, I didn't know why but something told me hearing voices when you couldn't see who spoke was a bad thing. I groaned, then held my head, I had a weird name for what I had.
"Is this a hangover?" I wondered aloud groggily, the voice burst out laughing, the laughter was long and loud and made my head throb with pain. I groaned.
"Will you shut up whatever you are?!?" I shouted at noone in particular.
The voice got quiet, at first I thought I hurt it's feelings then it started speaking again.
'you have no idea what you are or what you have do you?' it asked.
"Uh no!" I said annoyed, then something started to bug me "do I live here by myself?" I asked in a more polite tone of voice.
'Well no, you live with your parents but they're currently at a group meeting for themselves. You also have stepsiblings but they are all visiting friends so you're pretty lucky I transformed you when they were gone' the voice said 'otherwise things would get complicated.'
"How do you know that?" I asked it
'Well that's difficult to explain but I heard your parents and stepsiblings leave' it said.
Ok so my parents were away from the house along with my stepsiblings, I was in a dragon body with no idea how to work it...pretty much, and I had a splitting migraine headache and a voice that thought it was neccessary to explain every aspect of what I was doing.
"Do I have any powers?" I asked
'Certainly' said the voice 'you are a polymorpher, you can change into anything at will, also you are moderately good at all elemental magics' it added.
"Anything?" My voice took on a excited tone, that was an incredible power! "How do we test it?"
'Well' the voice sounded skeptical 'we could try getting pictures off of a device of some sort'
"Well I wouldn't know what device to use" I said annoyed again
'something with a screen' the voice said 'try looking outside your room'
I did as the voice said when I stumbled across my own computer
'This will do nicely' it said happily 'so what do you wanna shift into?'
"Well..." I didn't really know so I began to just look around the computer, and came across my own internet connection.
'Try that out!' the voice said excitedly, I nodded and began clicking around exploring, then I found a big colored drawing of a raptor
'Ok let's try that! Now picture the thing in your mind, oh but wait' the voice was thinking then it materialized a huge freestanding mirror next to me 'sorry I needed control of your body for a second so I could do that.' The voice said apologetically.
I finally got a real good look at myself, not only did I have a bright blue body and hands, but a bright blue head as well, I had hazel eyes which were comically big, and my hair was unusally messy.
Satisfied I went to work on picturing the raptor in my head.
I found that I could picture the raptor quite easily but that wasn't what surprised me, what surprised me was that my body was changing!I could see it in the mirror. My toes were shifting on my feet making me three-toed, my arms got shorter and I felt my face pulling outwards. My hands also became three-fingered as well. To finish my horns and hair sunk back into my head, my eyes themselves changed, and my teeth got longer. I didn't know it at the time but I had a mouthful of sharp teeth, thanks to the shift I was able to see them now.what was odd though was that I didn't change color.
'Try picturing it again' it said 'you might be able to match that brown coloration in the drawing'
I nodded and pictured it harder this time. Don't ask me what 'picturing it harder' means i'm not sure myself, all I know is that when I did it I was able to match the drawing perfectly, though I was walking on my toes. (I don't quite remember how that happened) Happy me and the voice went nuts shapeshifting into a bunch of other things, it was a long list, there was pokemon, digimon, a variety of mythological creatures, and some animals to boot. I was so happy, well I didn't see that my stepsister had gotten home.
