:Story:
Tedium approaches the group with the same focused glare he always has when he's in the mood to settle something!
Greyfass turns to greet his fellow warrior, but is quickly interrupted by the large bear now standing in front of him. "I've been noticing how soft you've become around these humanoids! You're just a pushover now! You need to take your position on top, not rely on Touya all the time!"
Beakwood and Garriel glance at each other, then towards their Captain, awaiting his response.
"Touya is still learning. He will get the hang of things soon enough, as will Kira. If you show some patience you will see that they are more than capable of helping us in our war against the Darkanoids".
Tedium turns his nose up before replying "I don't need to wait for them just like I don't need to wait for you to grow some balls!"
Tedium then looks over to Beakwood and Garriel, who have been eagerly listening in on the whole thing. "I suppose you two would like to see some proof that we can progress faster without Grefass or his little excuse of a human owner!"
Beakwood steps forward, trying to diffuse the situation "This isn't the time, Tedium. Greyfass has been a fine leader so far and you have no reason to doubt him now".
Tedium snarls a little at the eagle's words and then turns back to Greyfass, who has maintained his calm composure "I challenge you to a duel! The last animaloid standing gets to call the shots. How about it?"
Greyfass shakes his head and replies "We have more important battles to think about without having to fight amongst ourselves. We carry on as we have been already and that's final."
"Ooohh, scared I might show you up in front of your minions? I knew you were getting soft!"
Greyfass turns his back on Tedium "I am not interested in your challenge. Your lack of patience proves that you would not be suitable as leader."
Tedium grits his teeth "Come back here you coward! I'm not done with you yet!" Tedium lunges forward and grabs hold of Greyfass' tail, sending a tingling shock all the way up the wolfs spine. He howls as he swings himself towards Tedium, knocking him back off with his elbow.
Tedium stumbles back on to Gariell, who then grasps his arm in a hold and asks "What do you think you're doing to our leader? Don't you know your place? The captain refused."
"What'd I do? I just pulled him. I wasn't finished with him!"
"The captain's tail is extremely sensitive" Beakwood calmly explains "He hates being touched there."
"It's not my fault he's such a sensitive sissy!"
"You would not say such things if you had a long tail of your own." Greyfass defends himself, starting to get frustrated at the younger warrior's insubordination.
"If I did I wouldn't be a weakling, like you! What if a Darkanoid finds out about it? You'll crack like an egg!"
"You don't know what it's like!" the wolf yells, exasperated.
"Calm down, everyone." Beakwood lifts his hands, putting himself between the two.
"Yeah, let's all calm down. I'm sure Tedium won't do it again, Capt'n." Garriel joins in.
"Yes I will! I won't stop doing it until the mutt either admits he's a wimp or until he stops being one!" the bear yells, his threats making Greyfass pale under his fur "And I'll start right now!"
Tedium tries to force himself out of the gorilla's hold. "Take your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty ape!" In order to control him, Gariell pulls Tedium to the ground and clasps his legs around Tedium's other arm to execute a crucifix hold.
"Captain, if I might..." Beakwood approaches his leader "Although the need to suggest this pains me, it might be appropriate to employ some corporal punishment."
This diverts his attention from the struggle in front of him "How can we? That is not our way. He's rebellious, but he doesn't deserve a beating."
"No no. You are misunderstanding. I was thinking of showing him how you yourself feel when your tail is touched. You see..." He approaches his beak to the wolf's ear, whispering his idea.
Greyfass listenes closely, then lets a shy smile cross his lips "It's arguably still torture. It's also incredibly silly."
Beakwood smiles too "The humans have a saying: desperate times call for desperate needs."
"You have my permission."
Approaching the two animaloids on the ground, Beakwood comes down on top of Tedium to help restrain his wildly kicking legs and manages to sit himself on one securing it in place. "Hold still. You need to learn that what you just did was unforgivable. Pulling our Captain's tail was a big mistake and now he's about to show you exactly how it feels."
"What are you doing?! Let me go!" Tedium yells.
As Tedium shouts and kicks his last free leg at Greyfass, his once free ankle is swiftly trapped under the tight grip of Greyfass' arm, who is now ready to show the bear he means business.
"Get the hell off me! This isn't a fair match!"
Greyfass ignores him. "Has everyone got a hold of him tight?" Gariell and Beakwood position themselves comfortably as Tedium struggles, but can't break free.
"Yeah, he isn't going anywhere" Gariell replies.
Greyfass sits down with Tedium's ankle still firmly restrained under his arm. "Right then... here is a little sample of what it's like for me to have my tail grabbed."
Greyfass scrapes his claws along Tedium's sole and has to stabilise himself as Tedium shrieks and struggles to pull away with all his might.
Beakwood joins in by running his feathered fingers up and down along the bottom of Tedium's other restrained foot. "You don't seem to like this very much do you, Tedium?" he asks mockingly.
Tedium breaks out into an embarrassingly loud fit of laughter as the pair continue to torment the bottoms of his feet. Gariell then starts to tickle Tedium's neck, which drives him into a frenzy. "I think we can still do a little better than this". he says, getting carried away with the events. "Look, there's another open spot for you, Beakwood, right there!" Beakwood nods and reaches down to relentlessly tickle poor bear's sides.
Greyfass looks around to see Tedium crying out with laughter as he desperately thrashes about in an attempt to free himself. "So you thought you were the toughest, that you had no weaknesses, huh? We'll see how tough you really are. Let's keep this up through the night."
Tedium, too preoccupied with crying in laughter, can only shake his head and hope that he will be shown some mercy.

Yeah, but They are largely useless until they get a beast form, so its like Power rangers trying to fight a giant Monster without a Megazord.......Actually, its exactly like that! Seeing them beat up footsoldiers would have been cool and given more individual use to the characters in their original forms.
Well, at least it had good character developmant, which is more than you can say for most shows. Sure, by today's standards it looks repetitive, but you have to take into account just how old it is. At the time it might not have been revolutionary, but it was a good step forward.
You know that old problem, of how when you wait for something for a long time you end up creating an idealized version of it? And how the real deal can never truly compare to what you imagined, no matter how good it is?
... didn't happen! This is better than anything I had come up with.
They all look exactly like the series portrays them. I'd like to give special mention to Tedium's soles, for no reason other than the fact that I stared at them a lot. ^_^;
The positions are very creative. You managed to tangle four characters, give each a purpose and even show some eye-candy without making it all look like a mess. You made an extremely complex piece and it looks simple. Simply masterful.
Lastly, I never get tired of praising your facial expressions. Garriel's having the time of his life. Greyfass is calm but devilish. And who wold have thought Beakwood could look so sly? Tedium's in particular almost deserves it's own picture. Now THAT's what a person being tickle-tortured looks like!
I'd say "Another amazing drawing!" but this one stands above the others. You keep outdoing yourself like it was going out of style! I can't wait to see your art (yes, this is ART) in a few years.
(PS: You can make human feet! :0)

It will be a hard one to top as far as complexity is concerned. It appearing a bit messy was my biggest concern since a lot of the colours between the different characters match up exactly, but you have put my mind at ease there.
Of cores you deserve a heap of credit yourself for being able to tweak the story without having seen the picture. That takes a great imagination on its own.
Thanks again for your help there.

They all have there own quirky appeal. Thats why I made sure that all of there feet were on display (quite tricky when your trying to get all the tangled limbs to show all the essentials off without appearing unnatural or uncomfortable) because I knew that if I was going to do this it would be something for the foot fans to enjoy on different levels.
Story wise there are far less opportunity to make the others a victim but hopefully this pic will inspire some more Gulkeeva related fan art which may give birth to just that.
