Probably should have thought about flying trees when setting up the barrier.

Yao no kitsune is going to be feeling that one for a long, long time. The higher they get, the harder they fall.
And now (possibly) for the moment I've been waiting for since this whole thing started: Taran is going to grab "Saida," and head home, leaving Dragon!Saida to finish the job... and then try and figure out what happened to Quetz!Brand.

It didn't hold. All the trees being blown against it by the EF5 tornado that Taran-ouji unleashed took it down, and now quetz!Brand is completely exposed to Taran-ouji.
I still think Suzukon-kyo is either related to the Puppetmancer or is him. Considering his penchant for premature gloating on the cusp of victory, that would seem to track with how the Puppet War was described.
I also don't think he's defeated for good, but he's going to be feeling that hit by Mjollnir in the hoshi no tama for a long, long time. He'll be back... but for this arc I think it's a straight-up KO. Taran-ouji wins this round.
Never underestimate a demigod.

It's probably down, but I hold out the idea that it may have been tailored to just deflect and absorb demigod magic attacks and would have no effect on a low yield tactical nuke.
Taran is directly descended from, what, the fourth direct subdivision of Omin? That has to put him pretty high up on the demigod foodchain and he appears to have lived up to the legend.
I kinda wonder if Suzocon is so badly hurt he'll be exposed to a ravenous Roko that may have an opportunity for a little delicious payback.

I agree, he's not defeated for good. He survived the initial impact + shock of the tail strike (survived, as in alive enough to make a face). The ground is probably softer, so at best if the tail strike did 100 HP of damage, then hitting the ground is at most another 100 HP of damage, probably less.
