March 2025 Patron Poll Sequence : The Rocky Path..
This Months Patreon Poll Theme was POV TF! so I wrote a fun little choose your own adventure type choice for my followers. Here's the Story and the results!
One day while visiting a ancient estate in Ireland you were tempted into a magical hedge maze rumored to have been created by a leprechaun to protect his gold. Few enter due to the labyrinthine, sprawling, and unmaintained quality of the hedge but with the economy the way it is your desperate for a lil green and go to seek the treasure!
About half way through the Maze you have found yourself at a fork with three path ways and are terribly terribly lost. The Sun will be going down soon and you're starting to get hungry. as is you're gonna just have to pick a trail and hope for the best so.... which path do you choose to go down?
1. The Squishy Path
2. The Rocky Path
3. The Forested Path
>You chose Option 2
The Rocky Path: This Path runs parallel to a small cliff face, The footing looks sure at least and having a solid cliff to you back is comforting... at least until you squint and see evidence of some small caves/ rock slides... still that might be okay if you can eventually make it to the top of the cliff.
Having given up on the Labyrinths gold you instead make your way around the cliff hoping to find a way out. Its as your maneuvering around the rocks and crags that you spot a small cave opening with a strange golden glow emanating from inside. You squeeze into the tiny opening only for the cave to widen out quickly and as your eyes adjust to the dark you see it.
Vast piles of gold and jewels!
Letting out a joyous cry you jump forward, climbing the nearest pile of gold and reveling in your good fortune. as you reach the top of the mount though you slip and fall on the shifting surface of the coins which is when you notice... the scaley nature of your arms.
This Dragons Horde isnt complete without a dragon after all..
