This is amazing! What did you find to be the best way to tackle making the clovers?

Thank you! I make a rough plan first where the brightest layer was the lightest green and bottom layer darkest, just for approximate placements. Then I started working from the topmost layer - painted about 5-10 individual ones (on each layer, so there's maybe 25-35 individually painted ones), copypasted them to fill the canvas but leave enough gaps to show the level below. Puppet wrap in photoshop helped a lot to make them look more individual! Then I just repeated the process for about 4 layers of the clovers :) and did some fine tuning.

He has now undergone a urethrostomy operation, he is 11 years old. The stitches haven't been removed yet, but he feels good. Cats are so cool!
