Description: Born in 1996 in Brooklyn, New York, Jake Talon is an anthro Velociraptor who was bit by a radioactive spider in 2011 on a Science Field Trip to Alchemax Labs in New Jersey, quickly becoming New York’s Spiderman. He also often goes by the names Spider-Raptor, Spider-Dino, or Velocivolt. His best friend is a Monitor Lizard named Nolan Connors whose father was former Bio-Scientist Dragon Victor Connors, now a Banker funding his son’s experiments and helping others. Jake graduated from Brooklyn Tech Engineers while juggling his new role as Spiderman. For the first 3 years as Spiderman, Jake struggled to balance his new life and his ‘normal’ life. Despite everything, he did his best to save everyone, even those he had to fight, having always been a firm believer in second chances. In Late 2014, Jake got a call from his friend that a small meteor with signs of alien life was coming down over Central Park, and to meet him there. Jake quickly put his suit on and swung his way from his apartment to Central Park, arriving at the crash site of the meteor with Nolan arriving shortly after.

Jake’s spidey senses were going nuts as he approached the flaming crash site, a house-cat-sized mass of black, blue, and cream-colored tendrils trying to move its way away from the wreckage, seeming weak. Nolan urged Jake to stand back at first, feeling unsure about the mass of tendrils as his friend stepped closer. Jake reached out towards the mass with a hand, his senses going off like mad as the tendrils reached out to him in return. They connected, and within seconds the mass surged up Jake’s arm and onto his chest, where it seemed to absorb into his body. Within moments Jake’s body leaped a couple of dozen feet away from the flames and the tendrils reappeared, attached off of his body as they moved to look at him, the head of an Ornithocheirus facing him as he watched it change some to have raptor-like features. “What the -? Who and WHAT are you? And why are you inside me?” Jake asked, looking at the large head before a gruff, slightly cheery voice came from it as it talked, “First off, thank you for getting me away from the fire, Jake. Secondly, the name’s Valor, I’m a Symbiote from the void outside of the Universe. Symbiotes have to form a bond with a Host in order to survive. I, however, simply need a bond with a designated host, and I’d be able to separate from them at will.”

Jake and Nolan listened as Valor spoke, both of them in shock and awe at the fact that Jake was now carrying an alien creature before Nolan spoke up, “Well…let’s get back to the lab my Dad’s funding for me and you, Jake, and if Valor is willing. We can do some studies to learn what all he can do and withstand since he’s chosen you.” Jake and Valor nodded before Valor hid away inside Jake. Nolan grabbed Jake before Jake leaped up and swung his way back to the lab with his friend. Once there, Valor removed himself from Jake, forming his full body as he stood tall, grunting a bit before he laid down and agreed to allow the 2 anthros to examine him and run tests, finding out he was very sensitive towards super intense sound frequencies. With plenty of tests done and learning some of the new strengths he could provide to Jake, the trio took the time to relax and stay in Jake and Nolan's office.

3 years with Valor passed, when Jake's best friend, Nolan, fell deathly ill, and Valor, wanting to help Nolan, passed over from Jake's body to Nolan's, trying to use the rapid healing factor of symbiotes to combat his disease. Despite his efforts, Nolan got weaker, and Valor returned to Jake as Nolan worked hard with his own research to use regenerative DNA as a solution to his unknown illness. Jake, wanting to try other conventional methods to save his best friend, warned Nolan that what he was doing could result in nasty consequences. Despite his friends’ concern, Nolan had made an experimental serum designed to harness the rapid healing abilities of reptilian species and injected himself with it. The results were catastrophic. Instead of simply curing the illness, Nolan's body underwent a monstrous transformation and his mind was overwhelmed with primal instincts. He became what would be called The Lizard - feral, powerful, and uncontrollable, throwing the city into chaos. Jake and Valor split up and fought The Lizard together, wearing him down enough that Nolan was able to take temporary control of himself, following Jake back to Connors-Talon BioTech Institute, where Jake manufactured a counter serum and injected with it. The serum gave Nolan full control of The Lizard and allowed him to return to normal.

After saving his best friend, Jake took a year off from being Spiderman to tend to Nolan, helping him with therapy as Nolan had been scared to go out after his rampage as The Lizard due to the damage he had caused to the city. After some time, Nolan was willing to go outside, finding himself surprised as the city welcomed him to the public eye, having been worried just like Jake had been as he tended to his friend. After some talking with Nolan about what to do with his Lizard half, they came to the decision that Nolan would help Jake out with protecting the city, using the Lizard for good now that he was in control.

Only a year after Nolan started helping Jake had passed, New York had become the new hunting grounds of Kraven and his hunters. Kraven and his hunters had traveled to New York with the goal of hunting anyone with powers, even the criminals that had been reformed into outstanding civilians using their powers to help the city or the heroes protecting it. During one of the tougher fights against his Hunter Dogs after being ambushed, Jake had disabled one of the hunter dogs that Kraven’s hunters used for tracking and took it back to the lab for testing, curious about how it was so resilient. Once back at the lab, Jake discovered that the Dog’s AI had Adaptive Learning Capabilities and that old combat experiences remained. Seeing an opportunity, he worked tirelessly to override the core programming, replacing the directives with a new purpose, to protect rather than hunt. After weeks of modifications, reprogramming, and cautious testing, the hunter dog, now named Bytehound was a companion of Jake’s, no longer a mindless killing machine of Kraven.

A few long months of fighting Kraven’s forces passed, when Jake’s phone went off with numerous alarms in Harlem by the Seafood Market Warehouse, talking about a massive robotic Quetz fighting criminals alongside a group of Hunters. Jake, Valor, and Bytehound went to the Harlem Warehouse, finding a 45-foot-tall Robotic Quetz attacking the warehouse. Upon their arrival, the Quetz turned its focus onto the three heroes, opening its beak and releasing a sonic screech that heavily disoriented Valor and Jake. Bytehound, doing his best to silence the screech so that Jake and Valor could join the fight, was slammed by the Quetz's wing, sending him flying into a wall and getting injured, forcing Bytehound into a retreat to the lab as Jake and Valor quickly web zipped away to lure the Prototype elsewhere. Jake quickly maneuvered through tight alleyways, staying one step ahead of it as much as possible, narrowly avoiding its attacks, not wanting to get caught on the other end of its Sonic Screech. After a long fight that raged across the city, they managed to return back to the lab.

Nolan, having been watching through the built-in suit camera, was waiting for them to arrive, quickly helped them inside while Valor split off from Jake and laid down. As they took a rest to recover from the very swift ass-kicking they had received, a knock at the Foundation’s door startled them. Jake went up and answered the door, stumbling back as he saw an anthro cobra in a purple, black, gold, and green outfit. “M-mysterio! What are you doing here?” he stuttered as Mysterio stepped inside, “Jake, you’ve once helped me find the light and use my powers and technology for good. It’s time that I return the favor and help you and your friends. I saw what happened on the news. That thing is designed to combat you, Valor, and Bytehound, but not me or Nolan.” he said softly as he walked over to the others.

Everyone gathered together and agreed that Mysterio, whose name was Ezekiel “Zeke” Veil in this world, would be a great help in deactivating the Prototype that Kraven created, agreeing that it’s in their best interest to capture and reprogram it if they could. As they went over the plan on how to go about it, Jack and Valor leaped towards the group, shielding them as the glass roof suddenly exploded, the Prototype screeching loudly as it smashed through, followed by Kraven’s Forces. Nolan quickly changed into The Lizard, leaping up and using his long tail to wrap the beak shut before slamming it down, while Zeke used his powers to confuse and control some of Kraven’s forces, turning them against each other. With the combined help of Zeke and Nolan, Jake and Valor were able to regain their senses and quickly jumped into the fight. The fight was long and painful, resulting in the destruction of half the lab before Kraven’s forces were driven away and the Prototype left behind, deactivated in the fight. They called Nolan’s father, who was already on the way over when he saw the fight on the news, asking him if he could help them repair the lab, to which he helped fund the repairs while Jake and Nolan worked on the reprogramming of the Prototype. Weeks of programming turned into months, and soon, the Prototype, named Aetheris, was on Jake’s side. With her help, Kraven was finally killed, and his hunters were scattered throughout the city to be dealt with.

Years later, in 2026, the lab was fully repaired, bigger than it was before, and the group of Superheroes and Reformed Villains continued to grow, protecting New York State and its surrounding states from every threat coming its way.
