Agreed, its hard to get right and I very much appreciate such things in art. I don't like tiny sticks coming off the shoulders. Your wings here attach all the way down the back and you can even see how the wing musculature is cradling your torso in the bottom sketch here, as you have this suspended by the wings look that I really like. All the views here are just totally top-notch. Flawless anatomy!
