Let me explain. It all goes back to  DragonBoy618 who introduced me to Blinky Bill and our discussions of the characters....

Now, as I've mentioned in earlier posts, we both settled on the implications of the second season that in time Shifty Dingo will be the mate to Nutsy Koala, who quickly fell into a more sibling relationship with Blinky after her father married his mother and they became step-siblings. So, the seeds are there to form an outcome of a relationship twixt Shifty and Nutsy. We can't leave our star koala in the lurch, so we invented Debbie Dingo. She's the new girl who moves to Greenpatch about the time Shifty has made a serious decision to court his dream girl Nutsy. Much to Blinky's shock, he LIKES this new dingo in town...

And, y'know, it's St. Valentine's Day, so I had to post something romantic and sweet....
