Funny thing is that almost every time I play Mystery Dungeon I end up being Eevee (and also because I always choose to play female characters in Pokémon games). I was once a Skitty, but that never happened again.

I think Eevee is my totemic Pokémon. Although I wanted to be Gardevoir.

welp, that answers my question i just made on the previous episode a few minutes ago ^^'

but yeah, was weird that some pkmn were locked behind certain gender (especially since in the main games, eevee has a higher male rate)

They only had 16 slots available in the code for the Explorers series. When they wanted to add more Pokemon in Sky, this meant they had to make some of them exclusive to male and female.

Hes not female, female eevees have a heart shaped fur pattern where the their tan fur connects to their brown fur on their tail
