Dr. Ivan Genik possesses absurd level of intelligence and inventiveness, and a fixation on transhumanism. He sees a genetic tapestry as a blank canvas for his "art." Most of his colleagues consider his practices to be twisted and depraved, but he doesn't concern himself with their stubborn politics.
The true motives behind his endeavors are not well understood, perhaps even by Dr. Genik himself. Perhaps he has a deep-seated disdain for humanity, or perhaps he wishes to push humanity's evolution to a higher state of being. Or, perhaps he's just living his best life and enjoying his hobbies.
He was kicked out of his doctoral program for "violating ethical standards." He still insists on being referred to as "Doctor." No one questions him. At least, no one who still has the capacity for speech.

I felt suddenly very compelled to design a mad scientist character for TF shenanigans, so I've spent several days over my holiday working on one! I hope to make some proper content with him soon!
I really like him a lot! I've been a bit obsessed with him, so I spent a lot more time than usual working on his design. Most of that time was spent being nitpicky about details, but I still think it was put to good use. And I had fun doing it! It's been a while since I let myself spend lots of consecutive time on personal artwork.
