Even when you're living in a technologically advanced world, sometimes you can find joy in the simple things in life. Tiayneq is no different; he enjoys fishing on his home planet, and can get lost in a good book (which he prefers to read on paper rather than on a tablet). But when you're employed on a ship from a different world than yours, you may come across some new things to entertain yourself. His crewmates introduced him to a classic Terran puzzle: the Rubik's Cube. Tiayneq is fascinated by the thing, figuring out how to solve it all by himself. But after he had solved it once after a week, he wanted to see how quick he can do it. Since then, he's training himself to become quicker and quicker solving this cube. His current record is 4 minutes, but still, he wants to get it done even quicker...

archivist-kayl, who came up with this pose for him befitting his unusual anatomy. I had never thought a Roteron could sit like this before, but I definitely like it!

He’ll be baffled when he discovers millions of variations of these. I may not be a cuber, and less so a speed cuber, but I do enjoy these have have the version that uses thermochromic paint, but again, aside from my own interests, he’ll explode when he sees the others. I’d like to see him solve the 33x33x33.
