Commission! I wanted to save this one until after Christmas, as it was a gift! Another Animorphs fan, which is always a pleasure to work on! The fun thing is while I have drawn a bison before, this was my first time doing a transformation sequence of them!

Wow this is a great TF to close out the year with! I never really thought that bison would be so front-heavy, my mental image of them was closer to the species you find in Africa haha. It looks to be mostly fur though, which is quite interesting (almost looks like an afro or something). How would you think the sensation of being one of these guys would be?
The process is still amazing as always too, shoutouts go to how the muzzle changes in this one. Love how the nose widens out and the nostrils grow, ungulates have a distinct shape to their face that I'm glad you captured. Plus it's really cool seeing this guy become just so top-heavy, really puts the altered anatomy into perspective. Will be glad to see any TFs you make next year! It'll continue to be the dream for me to get something from you (currently thinking of TFs into Canada geese or Komodo dragons)

They are WILD to see in person for sure! And I will say, I did give this guy a summer coat, as they seem to shed a lot of it from the back half in summer. They're a little more wooly in winter, but still pretty front heavy :D
Their heads are still SO BIG! Such a unique creature!
And thank you! I think I'm still figuring out muzzles a lot, but there's so many fun things to do with them!
Ooooh a goose would be fun haha! I have done a komodo dragon once before, which was pretty fun :D

Oh man, I love the American bison/buffalo! I got jumpscared* by one of these guys at Yellowstone while taking photos of a waterfall. 10/10 would do it again.
*Nothing hostile, I was just taking photos, heard people making noise, turned around, and a buffalo was walking down the road right behind me.
