These are so very wonderful. I'm happy I finally had a chance to sit down and look at them all! I think the water element dragon is the one I'm most impressed by, simply because of that pose! A single point of contact with the base is so impressive to look at, like it could fly away any moment. But I do love the idea that the fire element wishes they could swim, that's so cute.

I have long thought about making someone dynamic, with one point of contact with the surface. I still have not abandoned this idea. Although I love working on creatures that stand firmly on their fours (or two), I am fascinated by moments when the touch seems accidental and fleeting.
