You have entered Mosswood Forest for a wonderful walk to enjoy the splendor of autumn. The trees are golden, the air has a slight crispness to it, and the air smells of apple pie and burning leaves.

Yet, after a few hours, you seem to have lost your bearings and can’t seem to find your way out. If it gets dark, you could be in big trouble. After all, you do hear the occasional crunching of footsteps out in the forest, but it seems like whoever is making the noise is just out of view.

As you speed up your walking, you happen upon a clearing. There, standing on a tree stump is a badger dressed in dapper clothes and smoking a pipe. The badger notices you, tips his hat, and puffs his pipe with a smile.

“Afternoon! Are you lost? Well, these woods can be mighty treacherous if you’re not careful with where ya wander.”
