After 2 good months, ROJO asking for help again!
☆HELP BY SUPPORTING ME ON PATREON☆☆HELP VIA DONATE ON KO-FI ☕️☆ Dear friends, my cat Rojo really needs help. Again!
He has been ill since June; he has autoimmune anemia (fortunately, it turned out NOT to be leukemia). We are treating him, and he was feeling alright at summer. But something is preventing him from getting better. Now he needs ultrasaund and tests to exclude (or confirm :c) a pancreatic tumor, lymphoma and pancreatitis. It will cost us about 400 euros, or more, depending on what awais next.
We are LGBT refugees in another country, and our earnings do not allow us to immediately get that amount.
I will be grateful to you for every penny.

I'm saddened that this development means that poor little Rojo will probably be fighting whatever is wrong with him for the rest of his life, but I'm also glad it's not leukemia, as someone who had someone in their family recently diagnosed with it. I still have little money to spare but I donated 100 CAD (67 euros) to your Ko-fi, and I'll try to share this around again... here's hoping you can make him feel better.
A big thank you from our family, from Alex, me, and from Rojo! Today he was doing as well as he could, tomorrow we'll take him to the vet again. Oh, he really doesn't likes the hospitals, after we discovered his cronical anemia and stuff!
Whatever happens next, I understand that our possibilities are limited, but orpf course we will do our very, very best. That's why I'm not only asking for help again, but also ready to take as much work as it's possible. (The other thing is that vet bills are incredibly high in comparison to any type of small freelance job! This is the reality)

Give all of your cats a hug for me! Assuming any of them tolerate hugs, of course. And yeah, the unfortunate reality about owning a pet is that eventually you'll have to pay out vast sums of money I order to keep them around... vet bills are expensive, and I wish things were different. Maybe in another reality I would have tried commissioning you with the money I just gave you, but I'm already preoccupied with taking care of my own cat with chronic health issues so I don't think I could spare the time. It's easier to just give it to you guys directly.

They both likes hugs, even if Rojo just apparently doesn't! (In fact he waits and then enjoys it) His street life before he started to live with us converted him into suspicious when it comes to close contact, but he adores human arms. So just a couple of time in a family made him trust us more and more.
Oh by the way, Alex and me are so thankful to your support, but I noticed you haven't gotten back with some commission ideas to me. Even while the donation amount does let you order something. This means a lot to us, and I really want to draw you at least any gift art! It was a long time since I wanted to gift you an art of August, or Seph the Scoli, they're one of my favorites!

Most of the cats I've owned now and in the past tolerate hugs but don't really like them al that much, especially a gray tuxedo cat named Cooper we used to have (he is sadly no longer with us). He was probably the friendliest cat I've ever had the fortune of knowing, and was relaxed to the point you could basically do whatever you wanted with him and he wouldn't complain... except hug him! Whenever I would wrap my arms around his chonky body he would always try to bite me, it was his one and only dislike. So I'm glad Rojo likes them! And I'm hoping that Rojo's vet appointment went well, since you mentioned yesterday that he had one today.
Also, what, no love for Sebastian? :P It's true that the money I gave you would probably be enough for a commission, but I'm not asking anything from you for it. I'm not looking to overwork you while you're in a stressful situation with Rojo, and while I've been starved for art content lately while saving money, I want to make it clear that I don't want to persuade/accidentally manipulate artists into giving me free art! If you want to draw one of my characters just for fun because you feel like doing so or want to bring up an idea you had involving them with me, I suppose there's nothing I could do to stop you, though.

Yeah, it's my mother, unfortunately. She was tentatively diagnosed with it a couple of days ago. Supposedly it's a mild form of leukemia that can be treated with medication, it's not like a "you have three months to live" kind of deal. But it still sucks.
