Honestly, it amazes me how much
devben98 and I get along! We just have so many things in common, despite our differences, such as Yuki being an anthro wolf and me being...alive and sentient...and her preference for pastels to compliment her black and green pelt while I like more striking and vibrant neon colors.
One definite point of commonality is our mutual love and adoration of everything involving some...materials that cannot be discussed in polite company and...their applications in ways that can only be discussed in an even smaller circle of people. Yes, these materials can be used in specific ways, both for industrial purposes and...a few ways that both Yuki and I find to be incredibly fascinating and alluring. (If you have no idea what I am talking about, look at our galleries here on FurAffinity, check the tags in the pictures, and if you are still in the dark, go ask your parents what some of those aforementioned tags mean).
Another is just how much we both seek out people that we want to have as a part of a family. Just look in Yuki's plethora of scenarios where she is "adopted" into a larger group that showers her in so much love! And I also have some situations in my own gallery where a similar thing occurs, as I take on a role meant for a greater purpose! Thankfully, my Mistress has provided me with such a wonderful family of her own, which includes my wonderful darling Jaida, and we might be adding some more into that family sooner than you all might realize.
Luckily, Yuki and I both have some amazing fashion sense. I mean, if you have seen even a fraction of the outfits we both have gotten dressed in that don't involve...certain things...then you can tell that we both really know how to rock a catwalk! Even in this picture, we both are wearing much more casual clothing, and we still look cute as hell! Look at how amazing I am in my standard ensemble of a white tank top, a black set of gym shorts, some sporty yet sturdy sneakers, some lovely long socks, a comfy yet surprisingly well-ventilated black hoodie, and my signature purple bow on top! (Yes, it is a purple bow, not a blue bow. My partner Jaida has purple hair and glasses with a red trim. That way, we each have a design element containing the other's color. Rather nifty, if I might toot my own horn!)
Meanwhile, look over at Yuki right next to me, smiling and flashing those deep jade eyes! Not only does she have an amazing T-shirt with a cute logo on it, but she always has such adorable accessories! She has that feather tucked against one of her ears, the ties at the ends of her green highlights, the little necklaces including that emerald crescent right above her cleavage! Everything about her I wish I could be as stylish and detailed as she is, and I hope she can give me some pointers on acquiring such iconic drip!
Unfortunately, I've got to be rather vague about how the two of us came to know one another, and why we managed to become so close like this, but I'm sure some people out there might appreciate the whole story. But I can at least tell you how we managed to get this picture together. So we were just hanging out together after getting into some trouble, as girls like us tend to do, and we wandered into one of the few big American-style malls out there that hadn't just gone and totally died from the collapse of the department store as a viable retail option. As luck would have it, the mall was trying to capture some nostalgia for the glory days of such establishments by doing an ongoing event based on the 1980s, and I am a massive sucker for the Eighties. Though Yuki wasn't quite as familiar with the decade as I was, I took her along anyway, so she could immerse herself in a culture that both of us were too young to actually experience.
Our first stop in this escapade was having a grand old time dancing on a retro dance floor in the middle of one square, even though it was only the two of us. Then they had an Eighties-themed escape room that we both tried out, though I will be honest, even my immense knowledge of the decade's esoterica was enough for us to be able to break out in time. I got stuck on a particular puzzle in that escape room involving Happy Days, which I guess is kind of Eighties but personally I think it's more of a Seventies show. There also was an arcade with a ton of classic cabinets with some discounts, and we button mashed the consoles until our digits were sore!
But finally, they were renting out digital cameras placed into a special mockup plastic case in the design of old-fashioned Kodak disposable cameras, and I figured it was worth it to get something to commemorate our outing, so I had Yuki take the photo and here we are! I think it turned out fantastic, and I am so glad Yuki was willing to press the button and hold the camera so we both could look incredible together! Honestly, I think that everyone should make time to just go and have a blast somewhere silly and weird with those they are the closest with!
Still, I absolutely positively adore Yuki very much, with all of my heart, and I am so glad to have her as a friend, a very good friend, and maybe...something a little bit more...but that is sadly, a story for another time, and this picture is just about to run out of that thousand words.
Thank you so very much to
devben98 for collaborating with me on this and for
alicedeepa for drawing this adorable and precious picture!
