I've seen them drawn next to characters before (typically in beach type drawings) but I'm the only one who I can think of (off the top of my head) who's actually shown characters wearing them. I kinda figure regular shoes may be a bit difficult for them to wear with that leg shape (something I've rarely seen drawn) and something's gotta keep the hot concrete/asphalt from burning their paws. So IDK this concept came up.
