A few days later…

It was the evening of July 30, 2024; the day after the 53rd Birthday of Martina’s mother. So she and Laylana were both celebrating with the rest of their friends. Also, tomorrow was the last day before the Espeon’s official membership in Matrix Corporation got allowed.

Leilani: Wow. This is so exciting… I mean, I never thought I'd get here…
Martina: Well, you did, sis! We are all so proud of you!
Leilani: You sure you’ll be fine?
Martina: Don’t worry. We’ll all be fine. Me and Kevin plan to move to Millennium City; Casey got allowed as a cop agent; Judy is a police detective in training; Kira found someone she can work alongside with. And Holly moved back to Centuryville.
Leilani: How about the others?
Martina: Well, Autumn plans to move to Axel City; said that her Grandma always wanted to be there.
As for Adam, he is planning to leave for Smokesville. Hearing the crime fighting there was way more exciting.
Leilani: Oh… How about… you-know-who?
Martina: Rachel? Last I heard about her, she disappeared from town. All those mobs who we all crossed paths with want her done with.
Leilani: Oh. You disappointed?
Martina: Not exactly… I just hope she doesn’t get in any more trouble. As for myself and her… I don’t like her, yet I don’t hate her either.

Suddenly, Martina remembered that she and Kevin must prepare their luggage for their long flight the next morning.

Martha: Me and Kevin will go now. I wish you good luck on your first day on the line.
Leila: And I wish you a great journey and life in Millennium City. *whimpers* I’ll be missing you, sis… *cries*
Martha: Don’t worry. I’m sure we will both be fine. And I know we’ll meet again one day. *hugs her* I love you, Opal!
Leila: *sniffs* I love you too, Yuki!

As the night wore off, everyone started preparing for their future. While this was the end of this story, it was not the end of this journey.
