Hey! It's finally done. Great job!
As I said before, the pose is pretty good - dynamic and powerful. It kinda reminds me of some kind of "superhero landing", he he he... but it's really well done, strong and splendid.
Then, the perspective of the head is pretty great - this snout (or any lizard, dino or dragon snout) is not easy to draw from that perspective.
^^
And what I also love are all the little details... the carving on the pummel of the blade... the attire... I just love the design of the leather foot wear... the "Warcraft-like" shoulder pauldron is super cool... yeah, all in all it looks excellent!
^^
And you know what?
I prefer this loincloth type more than the "handing around" type. Why? Well, in THIS particular moment... the flying cloth would be annoying to the character. He might accidentally step on it, hehehehehehe!
Good job!!

Nice to hear such praise from one of the original old-school "Buff Warrior Lizard with Minimal Clothing" artists that got me into this fandom! Glad you like him! The piece came out fantastic indeed!
The original idea for the pose was "sneaky thief preparing to ambush someone" but with how buff he ended up being, he's probably more of a barbarian who put a few points into Sneak instead of Heavy Armor. And yeah a good bit of inspiration for my armor originally came from Warcraft's Orc designs. Something light and minimal but with a ferocious touch. Like the lizard himself when he's not so beefy!

Lol he also got you into the fandom? small world! so am I XD And thanks to him I manage to learn and become the artist that I am right now owo
Hahahah well even if his anatomy is very buff, he can still do a good job for a stealthy role. And we have bodybuilders like Jujimufu that can demostrate they can still be agile uwo

"The guy who got me into the fandom" is a quote I read often when it comes to my character Reptile or my own person. And that's really cool and appreciated!!! ^^
Fun fact: I never considered myself to be a part of the community in the past... and still I created many fans or "lizard lovers" so to speak.
It's always great to read this and maybe my creations caused more impact than I would've thought.
Anyway, I'm happy for you and the cool drawing.
^^
Furthermore, thanks for your comment as well. That's highly appreciated!
And hey... who said a buff guy cannot snesk???
XD

Oh now that you mention it, the way the legs and the arm are placed CAN tell it could be a landing position o3o nice observation from your part owo
Glad you mentioned about the angle of his head, it is indeed kinda rare to see a frontal or semi frontal view of a reptilian character, especially with a pointy snout like this one, but I´m glad it caprtured good enough its facial structure in that angle ^ ^
Hahahah that last observation can be right. I suppose ancient civilitations did had long loinclothes for traditional ornaments aesthetics, but for stealthy and agile practicity, this one is more functional as you said.
Thank you very much for the comment : D
