I agree with Dutch Cena should go over, let Cody struggle with the fact he lost the title and let everyone down who believed in him. Then have Orton the Legend Kill go after title, with some sort of Rock interference to keep the title on Cena,start the rift between Cena and the Rock. Have Punk go after the title same thing Rock interferes Cena starts a face turn. Have the Rock force Cody to fight his way back up to number 1 contender gaining his confidence back while the Rock is continuing to try and screw Cody over, with Cena continuing his face turn and ending it with Cena dropping the belt back to Cody having the match Cody was hoping Wrestlmania was supposed to be

I would book Cena knocking the ring rust off with two weeks of him having squash matches against any enhancement talent.

the logic of somebody making the first contact, losing the match is null and void at this point.
we all had that same logic with Kane and his fireworks at one point but we as fans need to sit back, shut up, and enjoy what is happening.

I guess Dutch forgot about the angle where Vince was removed as CEO and Triple H was installed... only to reverse it a week later. It was during that segment where Vince was about to fire Cena and Cena made the statement that if Vince fired him, in a week he would be "working for another company... BROTHER!!!"... in reference to Hogan being in TNA at that time.

Philly was completely sold out all events last year. In fact, they sold so many tickets for RAW amd SmackDown that they didn't use the stage or Tron so as to open up the seat on that end of the arena.

They had to do a vignette with Cody asked for a training partner and the PLUMBER shows up😮

The Cross Rhodes "out of nowhere" is absolutely brutal to watch.
Not only Cena has to stay limp like an idiot in the position while being the freshest for a fight, but Cody is also taking is time to gaze at the audience before hitting the move at the 3rd second mark.
+ Cena looking like he got shot dead afterwards.
The segment was good up until the physicalities, then it became silly.

This “road to Wrestlemania” has been fantastic considering how boring the product has been for a very long time. Sure, this year isn’t as exciting as last year, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. This is the last time we’ll see Cena and Punk competing at Mania, we need to savor this shit

The ending of this segment made no sense. Usually, in big matches, it takes 3 consecutive cross rhodes to take someone out. Cena is LAID OUT out by one? The details matter, wwe

I wouldn't say finally. This has already been interesting but this segment took it to the next level.

The laying there, I think, is supposed to imply that he’s out cold and that a pin could be applied in that moment as it is Cody’s finishing move. I didn’t mind the lack of selling in that moment. It’s like he emulated a person getting knocked out

Felt like Cena, doing right by being a heal, held back and could have destroyed Cody if wanted to truly do, not that Cody wasn't hitting back, but he lacks that smooth and off the cuff delivery style where crowd would have sided with Cena. Think was good example of Cena putting the angle/Cody first and not just making it about himself or showing I am great when given free reign on the microphone.

Okay let's be honest here Cody's run as champion hasn't been some grand spectacle he's a chaser not a holder meaning he'll always bring more money chasing for the title then holding it

Really not interesting at all. We already know Cena is going to put Cody over. Cena will switch right back to being a babyface as soon as the match is over.

John has to attack next week, that's why he's not scheduled, after Cody set him down Cena has to respond or he's cooked

Rhodes needs to be back on the chase, and/or a heel turn, eventually.
The white-meat babyface champ gimmick won't last forever.

If Cody wins. It will be so incredibly disappointing.
