The leader of the Headless Silver himself, Julius Montenegro
Julius was born on the lower levels of New Babel, meaning his life would be a constant struggle right from the start. Even considering how tough was to survive, Julius grew up among a tight-knit community that would watch out for each other and make sure they all made it to the next day. It made Julius grow up with a strong sense of pack, and watching each other's back above anything else. He learned to fight, and turned out to be not only talented, but naturally strong as well.
That relative peace would not last long, before the biomedical advances allowed anyone to gain strength without effort, and easily overpower and dominate. As soon as those medical advances were public domain, the balance of power that kept his community together crumbled apart. They needed to survive, and the only way Julius and his relatives knew how to do it was to stand together. Thus, the Headless Silver was born. They would defend those who chose not to modify their bodies from power tripping body mod crazy heads, drug dealers trying to profit on the struggle, and basically anyone that meant a danger to the lower levels of New Babel.
During that never ending struggle, Julius bonded with a female boar, and eventually love flourished. However, the son of their unity would be born forever running. Struggling and fighting a battle their son didn't ask for. Did he deserved it? They both agreed to leave their child behind, quietly dropping him at the Jerónimo orphanage where he would never stand out. He would never be a target to extort Julius and his wife. He'd have a chance to choose how to life. Even if it meant their child would forever resent them for it.
