“Sleep…sleep…“ a voice rang softly. Reskao’s arms grew heavy. Then, their legs. ”Go into deepest slumber.“ The voice grew faint, as if further away but the red fox knew in the back of their head that was just an illusion as they drifted off.
“No…I must stay awake.” A spark of thought sparkled in their mind. Reskao knew they were in danger, having been found in the night crowd by their captor. They were already a little inebriated from the night’s festivities, but this was…different. Like a blanket had been placed over them, their vision grew cloudy and dazed. Then suddenly, the voice rang out again, stronger, “SLEEP.”
As quick as a dew drop falls from a leaf in the morning sun, they too fell. Nobody in the crowd noticed, or if they did, they just assumed them to be a drunkard and stepped over them. After a few moments, their lithe form was lifted into the arms of a cloaked figure and carried off. Reskao couldn’t fight any longer. Their consciousness was long gone.

“Nnh…”, the red fox groaned as they came to. “Well, hello there Reskao. I see you’re finally awake.” They recognized the voice as their captor. “You were strangely easy to catch in my web, considering all the deeds you’ve done for this country. All of my companions and cohorts you’ve slain. Now why is that?” The cloaked figure smirked with a soft chuckle as he gently grabbed Reskao’s chin. Reskao blinked in shock that someone would touch them like mere prey. An adventurer like them didn’t deserve such dishonor. A warning growl passed their lips as their ears pinned back. “I’m going to make sure you’re not a problem in my plans ever again.” The gloved hand that was so gentle stung as he slapped Reskao’s cheek. A cackle followed the sharp crack of the cloaked figure’s slap.
The captor turned his back to Reskao to prepare something. This gave the red fox a moment to look at their surroundings. They were bound to a rickety wooden chair. Stairs to their right conveyed to them that they were underground, in a dank, dark, musty room. If they were to yell, nobody would hear. The room’s walls were covered in stone. They were well and truly trapped. There was an odd contraption in front and to the right of them, directly next to the stairs. It looked like a vat of…something. Reskao sniffed the air. They noticed a faint aroma of sweets, citrus, and the pungent aroma of freshly activated gelatin. A very curious scent to be found in a basement, to be sure. Their ears perked up as he heard the soft swoosh of his captor’s robes brushing the paved floor to turn around.
“Here we are. With this, you will no longer be an issue. Your days are numbered, adventurer, and you will forever be my favorite little toy to play with. This basement will be your new home, so I truly hope you like it.“ The cloaked figure’s words dripped with sarcasm towards the end of his long-winded speech. ”Now, drink,“ he commanded, brandishing a hose towards Reskao. Reskao huffed indignantly, trying to avoid the hose. Their maw was forced open by his captor’s leather gloves, allowing the hose inside. A leather strap was applied to his muzzle, preventing him from spitting out the hose.
The captor chuckled, turning a massive switch on the side of the vat to “on”. A slurry of green goo traveled up the hose, clearly being the sweet gelatin mixture he smelled earlier. It filled their mouth and pressured its way down the fox’s throat. Their captor smirked again, watching the process. They had won. Reskao had lost.
Slowly, Reskao’s thin tummy resembled a beer belly and continued growing. Their odd-colored eyes rolled up a little in a feeling between bliss and despair. They didn’t want to admit it but they liked the feeling of their lithe frame plumping out. Their thighs and arms started to grow as well, as their gut started to reach his knees. They tried not to let out a soft murr of approval as they gave up and allowed themselves to be fed, but to no avail. Their tail swayed back and forth between their plump cheeks.
A laugh rang out, “That’s it?! You were so quick to give up, adventurer. But after having saved the country so many times, you must be tired. This must be bliss for you. Fine. That won’t change your fate.” After a few minutes that felt like a few hours to Reskao, the vat was empty. His captor laughed again, using a gloved hand to jiggle Reskao’s gelatin-filled belly. An audible slosh filled the air and a few gurgles signaling digestion. The leather strap around his muzzle was removed. Reskao’s gut rumbled just then and he let out a mighty belch in their captor’s face. The belch was loud enough to reverberate off the walls and rattle the equipment in the room gently. Reskao blinked and blushed, embarrassed yet pleased at what they had become. A fat slob full of jiggly gelatin, too big to be an adventurer ever again.
Their captor growled in displeasure at such a display. “You weren’t meant to enjoy it, you know.” With an indignant huff, he crossed his arms, just as a certain noise filled the basement air. It started off quiet, almost like a scratching, a cracking, and then a loud snap. The rickety chair fell apart under Reskao’s great weight and they fell to the paved floor with somewhere between a gelatinous plap and a boom. Their entire form jiggled violently and the motion unearthed yet another rattling belch. Reskao chuckled, unsure if it was the hypnosis still at play or if they truly enjoyed being this sack of gelatin. The captor took a step back in shock at such a display from a grand adventurer. A sigh escaped through the opening in his hood and he shook his head, “Pathetic…”
