Little Pika Paws Daycare: "How old am I..?"
I can't help myself, I have a growing desire to make more and more sunny paws daycare themed art based on my experiences playing >//w//<
This is actually a redraw of a much older sketch that I haven't yet posted. The original sketch is quite different, so I might post that to scraps or something maybe =w=

...not sure if my final idea will be too similar, but I'm currently thinking up a (slightly convoluted) set of mechanics for a PMD/diaper game...
- thirst: some drink items could stack (e.g. 2-4 full drinks per bottle) to make this easier to manage
- digestion: in-between for what goes in and what goes out, tracked separately for liquids and solids; some foods/drinks, as well as some situations, will cause this to transfer to urge faster or slower
- urge/capacity: also tracked separately for both wetting and messing
- resistance: also mostly separate, influenced by continence, urge level, and whether you are trying to hold it in or not; you go when this reaches 0 for the corresponding urge
- continence: this will gradually change based on whether you often try to hold it or not, and possibly other events; influences resistance strongly, and also slightly reduces capacity for both ways at lower values
- clumsiness: could be applied at the start of the game (you are still getting used to your Pokemon body) and possibly due to some gear or dungeons, will occasionally cause resistance to slip down a bit
resistance to messing decreases maybe 50 turns or so after you eat, more strongly depending on how much you eat and even more strongly/sooner with lower continence
if resistance drops to 0 unintentionally, you might finish your accident slower with higher continence or faster with lower continence
you can try to hurry it along; pushing (reduces both resistances) or relaxing (mostly reduces wetting resistance, but also affects messing resistance a bit) will both be faster at low continence and can take a few turns at higher continence, if you cancel before resistance drops enough to go, some of the resistance reduced will be restored (less at lower continence)
so...
- lower continence reduces time spent going, either voluntarily or not
- higher continence... is actually looking kind of impractical... I guess it cuts down on how many diapers you need to pack, at least?
...and then there could be type-specific modifiers affecting resistances:
- fire: slightly less resistance to wetting (they like the warmth)
- grass: slightly more resistance to wetting, moderately less resistance to messing
- water: moderately - against wetting, slightly + against messing
...etc.
and even for dungeons, such as cold ones reducing wetting resistance a bit (extra modifier(s) to fire-types, maybe), ocean/river/etc. ones reducing it a lot (water-types could partially resist this, though they'll still end up very susceptible)
thinner diapers hold less accidents, and have less effect on defense and clumsiness; thicker ones hold more, are more resistant to rashes from wetting and slightly more so for messing, and increase both defense and clumsiness a lot
rashes could appear over time, faster the more heavily a diaper is used, and might cause a bit of damage, or maybe just reduce stats/travel speed; either way, always having enough spare diapers for changes is a good idea
...this kind of stuff always seems simpler in my imagination xD
I could implement all of this without too much difficulty, but drawing or making sprites for all of this would be very tedious... maybe the diapers won't actually show any (or just not too much) variance for thickness and for how heavily they got used...
