I've already been doing cover/poster art for some time now, but drawing more scenes like this instead of just character portraits all the time is what I plan to improve on this year. Gonna be keeping framing and composition in mind as well, since those can really push an otherwise boring piece into something interesting to look at no matter the subject. It was pretty tricky getting this one down and had to redraw the background a few times. Perspective is wonky with the walls but hey I guess I cheated through it enough by making it very dark. Totally intentional because it's night time, yeah ;p
