A warm summer night is the backdrop for the peaceful rest of three friends who have spent a day full of excitement and fun.
Prince Borgon likes to spend his free time, when the commitments at the castle become less urgent,
with long walks through the sunny hills of the princedom in the company of his closest friends.
That month at the castle he was visited by Riok and Kyu, both more than welcome guests in front of the prince.
The adorable green dragon specifically holds a special place in the heart of the ruler of Valmeridia,
who has given him the unofficial title of "Cute Royal Advisor".
In fact, his large luminous eyes and small muzzle have also made inroads in Silva and Sir Cordiale,
who often find themselves chatting amiably with the dragon who, when visiting the castle,
wears the jerkin that Borgon wore when he was still a teenager.
As for Riok, his long, pointed spikes should not mislead.
In fact, inside his big body beats a heart of gold far more shiny than the jewels on the crown.
The feral dragon has a gentle and patient soul, and Borgon often likes to challenge him to long flight races,
to see who reaches the furthest or most distant cloud first.
Or, simply, both enjoying savory soups cooked by the fire that Riok himself blows.
But that night, as mentioned, is a moment of quiet and rest.
Kyu will certainly have no problem relaxing, squeezed in the arms of Prince Borgon,
who in turn finds warmth in the soft embrace of the big gentle dragon.
The summer breeze softly brings with it the sounds of Valmeridia's forest,
while the room is filled with just the regular breathing of three friends, lulling each other to sleep.
Who knows which of them will wake up first at dawn, and who will instead get the reputation of heavy sleeper~
The piece of today has a special meaning to me.
Almost five years ago, when I decided to join the fandom, I did it silently, on my own.
No one told me about it, no one invited me to "come and see".
I simply decided that I wanted to be part of it, with expectations and fears.
After all, every new thing we try gives us at first a mixture of feelings.
With great surprise, it didn't take me long to make new friends.
In a matter of months, I felt like I did good to being part of the furry fandom.
And this merit goes for the most to the beautiful people I met, some of which are still friends,
to the point I consider them dearest.
Two fellas in particular belong to this special group.
Since we first met I knew I was talking with very nice and polite people, and their sonas are also out of doubt adorable.
During one of our chats we came up with a cute idea. I even drew a sort of sketch to put it on paper.
A drawing that remained in my folder for years, waiting for the right moment to be turned into a nice piece of art.
And to think it's one of the protagonists of this piece himself that drew it makes me even happier!
This piece is just as wholesome and adorable as I imagined it, and I'm so so happy to share this scene with two of my dearest friends.
