On a more serious note, stuff like this makes me glad this sort of "wish fulfillment" stuff isn't real, since I REALLY doubt people could avoid messing it up. Even if they don't destroy the world or do anything that affects OTHER people, you just KNOW some sort of "wish gone wrong" situation would happen sooner or later if something like this actually existed...
Though, someone actually turning themselves into a Dema-dog (my word for semi-feral, feral animals with human features), horse, or other animal like what Bendzz would be pretty funny depending on how it worked out. Hearing someone try to complain while only going "Arf, Arf!" or other animal noises would be the kind of thing it would be hard not to laugh at.
I've sometimes played with that idea myself. I'm not too fond of my family (for particular reasons), and sometimes I imagine my mother or another family member getting some sort of wish-granting item, and wishing something like "Make it so M/N will love us!" and then for a few minutes nothing happens, then they start steadily changing into either regular animals, or even Dema-animals, and freak out (understandably) and then when get home and figure out what happened, seeing them like that, I just start cry-laughing for a good 10 minutes.
