"...And here we have the main attraction of our aquarium: Mermaids"

The tour guide escorts the aquarium guests into a room with a huge tank. Murmurs and whispers rise up at the mention of mermaids. Could there really be mermaids in this aquarium? Most of the tourists have never seen such a thing, so they watch the tank closely to find what amazing creatures were there. None could be found aside from some salmon and tuna. The volume of the initial murmurs and whispers grow as no Mermaids appear. A few moments pass by, and a few guests head to the next room to see something that is real.

Then, the tank's fauna rustles about. The crowd watches the movement closely. Noticing how much of the fauna moves at a time, they could tell it was something large. Even larger than the tuna fish in the tank. Could it be a mermaid, a shark, or some other exotic creature? A harmonious sound of surprise fills the area when a large red fishtail suddenly appeared and disappeared. Soon enough, the rest of that aquatic specimen manifests. The touring group could only stare at awe at what they were seeing. It was a Mermaid! A Guilmon Mermaid sporting a bulging belly, to be specific.

The guide smiles, knowing that the Mermaid before them liked to put on a show. They clear their throat and continued their tour. "This beautiful creature before you is named Giuseppa. As you can see by her figure, she is expecting." Giuseppa grins and pats her round midsection on cue to this, showing the audience that she understands the tour guide. "Similar to mammals, mermaids incubate their young in their bodies for several months until their offspring hatch in them and they give birth. Feel free to take pictures. She loves attention."

As per the guide's permission, the aquarium's visitors take out their cameras them proceed to take pictures. Giuseppa takes notice once the first flash goes it. It's time to entertain another audience wanting to see a mermaid. She makes her way from one side to the next, twirling a bit into a barrel roll. Next, she faces the crowd. The mermaid blows a kiss with a wink before she performs her next maneuver. With a swift yet graceful motion, Giuseppa jumps out of water, flips backwards, then dives back into the tank. A wave of applause commends the risky maneuver she just made.

"She also likes to put on a show. Even when carrying offspring, mermaids will display impressive speed, finesse, agility, and grace in their movement."

Alright! Got back into posting! Finally. It has been so long since I've done it last. I'm so sorry. I've just been busy lately.

So here is a YCH I got from  SweetVixsin of my OC Giuseppa as a pregnant mermaid. I definitely love how the image came out, and I hope my short little story came out just as well. I hope you all enjoy it
