Wow, I got two possibilities of how this story is happening.
One she got the job from the internet, but never questioned the person who hired her talked to her through the computer or phone until she goes inside the mansion and as she cleans she finds it strange that the whole thing is strangely dog centric until it finally happens.
Two the "Dog Owner" does have human servants it's just that she's the latest one that will part of the "doggy half" of the staff.
