It's interesting how Sally increasingly is depicted with the red stripe down her back and tail, despite the fact this design feature was added AFTER her last ever official apperance. As the only time she was ever drawn with it was a fan piece done by an IDW sonic comic artist that got mistaken for an IDW design of Sally.
