Meet Katan, a kobold assassin that is currently employed by a mighty silver dragoness. Katan was born into a clan of kobolds under the servitude of a red dragon who lorded over a remote town, using the town by demanding sacrifices, tribute, and general servitude. To help enforce and keep an eye on the town, the red dragon used Katan to spy on the town and kill anyone who tried to (often just implied) rebel against their overlord. Eventually the red dragon met his end, Katan and his clan scattered amongst the chaos of slayers looting their masters lair and skinning him. Katan found himself in distant lands, looking for any sort of purpose, fighting for survival against creatures far more powerful than himself. Eventually Katan was employed into the service of a silver dragon, whom he currently remains with to aid her in whatever manner deemed necessary. Unlike his previous servitude, Katan is given the choice to stay or leave; which he remains ever grateful for. A follower that fights for you willingly, is more ferocious than a slave forced after-all!

Katan is nearly as old as Rakant when it comes to his real life creation! The little bold was made close to ten years ago, about two years after I made Rakant. Despite this, he hasn't seen extensive use in stories or RP, but now at least he has his first official art piece!
