That means this behavior is inappropriate, but as Star said, this could be just a difference in culture, as this behavior would definitely not fly in U.S. military.

I do hope she doesn't have the ABDL overtake her life completely. I liked that this comic managed a good balance of realism and cuteness but now it feels like it's veering too much into one direction.

It's just because of the charity event, the rest of the base doesn't know it's ABDL or anything kinky. So they're just trying to tease her while they can. In the world of Shine, since Star got on base, it's probably only been the greetings on base and lunch. So while it seems like weeks to us, it's only been like 5 minutes of teasing, then a break after the meeting, then lunch. She probably had some peace of mind between the meeting and lunch.

I suspect that home life is going to turn into just light teasings and textings, maybe some visits and more teasings, but it doesn't seem like Elly was really going to go all in for Star. Just supporting her and not thinking less of her. After the talk in the morning, she seemed to say she wanted to show her support and went a bit overboard with it in the process, so it'll quiet down I'm sure.
