Perched atop one of the many mountains at her disposal, Sonyu looks out at the world below her, seeing her village resting peacefully in the valley she lived her entire life. Though Sonyu enjoys the serene vista, she quickly realizes that the rainfall has been uncharacteristically scarce this season. Given that agriculture is something Sonyu and her clan is known for, it hurts her to know that her people won’t be able to grow and cultivate their delicious fruits, vegetables, and herbs. So, what is a lone monkey to do? Well for any NORMAL monkey, there wouldn’t be much that can be done; but Sonyu is not a normal monkey! If you remember correctly, Sonyu is an Apostle: a super powered warrior with elemental powers at her disposal. What are Sonyu’s powers again? Well if you remember (see here: ), Sonyu has the ability to conjure clouds and create storms. Guess what that means?! Yup, Sonyu can act as a living weather machine and summon rain on demand. So, knowing that her people need a little rain for their crops, Sonyu decides to summon a storm that can deal some heavy rain but not too much that it will be a problem for her village. Even though the serenity of the calm day has been broken, Sonyu watches in satisfaction as the storm she created drifts closer to her home, ready to gift her friends and family with glorious rainfall. *TRIVIA: Sonyu is one of the two Apostles who are able to create weather, in this case rain and thunder. The other being Snow, however her powers are not specifically tailored to creating snow, whereas Sonyu’s power are specifically tailored to creating storms and clouds.
