this means the Elestians were around for at least 600 years. Thats actually longer than I expected! I wonder why they havent returned to check in? Perhaps they made more Poseas?

They managed to develop quite the collection of trinkets over those 400 years. It seems whenever great comforts are made someone is always left in the cold.

Interesting how so many Posean artifacts and customs resemble our own, even to the extent of holding forks in the left hand. Coincidence?

It has more to do with which is your dominant hand, I assume.

For instance, I'm right handed, and use a fork in my right hand to eat with. I'd only use a fork in my left hand when using a knife to cut something, as is shown here.

The same thing regarding their environment and artifacts occurred to me, but I'm guessing it's out of convenience, so that everything didn't have to be completely redesigned from the ground up for this project. That would have been a LOT of work.

I can't help being reminded of the anime movie Royal Space Force, where virtually everything from light switches to battleships were redesigned from the ground up. Can't imagine how much work that would have taken.
