With nothing around to grab onto, she resorts to the only course of action she has, to try to push herself up from the thick sucking sands. I love her straining pose and expression, back arched, arms straight, hand on the surface, eyes closed and teeth gritted, she is certainly trying hard. But the quicksand seems determined to devour that backside of hers, and I certainly can’t blame it. I love the way her butt squishes down into the indent she is stuck in, and those deep sink lines really give a great impression of the sands squeezing in around her, as the ripples coming out from where she is have fully merged with the surrounding area, which definitely bodes poorly for her.
