When Beeve Demon Comes to Town - a Thursday Prompt
Hopefully I won't get hit by a lightning bolt.
My many thanks to
XxTheCreativeKitsunexX for allowing the Thursday Prompt to use his music for inspiration.

I read a piece about Wyatt... apparently he used a buntline special https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Buntline and used it more to club his opponent than to shoot them.
and I didn't know that about Patton, though I used him in 'Sir Edwin'... most people don't know that he was a 'Master of the Sword'...

Holy crap, how meta can you get? I got that Satan and God have to settle something like politicians, and they duplicate people's forms to have only each other's attention. Then, you go into a commentary about what humans do without heavenly or hellish influences. The closing scene comes off as a celebrity waking from a dream or having a vision. It's nice that they both have a sense of humour, though.
Quite an interesting tale you've got here, I'm familiar with the whole 'Wild West with Christian themes' works before, but this was quite a unique take on it. You certainly had fun with the inclusion of the various actors (I'm pretty familiar with Scott and Palance - the former for Patton and the latter for his take on Dracula.)
The twist was unexpected, the the introduction of the cows was quite cool and I nearly lost it at their snark and threats of groin attacks. The message is not one I usually see in the settling either, but it struck me as quite mature and earnest. Especially the bovines tearing down of anthropocentric practices.
The John Wayne cameo at the end was a nice touch too, I could certainly see old Marion dreaming such a wild romp, when he's not having nightmarish flashbacks to The Conqueror.

I so loved when Scanectity had to deal with him... if you look at the story of the world as a rock opera/musical/opera/play/movie, etc. 'they' all have a part to play. That does not mean the character necessarily represents the actor.
*hugs a bunch... thanks for the kind words Wire...
