Hypnotic Dancer Surge - Wumpamgs
*THERE IS A STORY BELOW THE DESCRIPTION*
The IDW Sonic comic is actually pretty dang good.
While certainly not the sentence one should start with to explain this illustration, but it's the truth. The mix of new characters, continuity and established ones does make for a good read. Tangle and Whisper are great, Dr. Starline is a great villain...but I also do enjoy Surge a great deal. As the "Evil Sonic" of this setting, she's a breath of fresh air and her design is pretty cool. So naturally since I enjoy her, she gets the hypno bedlah treatment. ;P
I went again for Wumpamgs for this one given that they've worked pretty fast and well with the last one...and it's their Surge art that I discovered first. I gave them very wide ideas as to what I wanted and for a steal this is what they created. I can only endorse them as a cool Sonic/Furry artist and recommend you check them out.

“...and that's why you're now the true blue blur.”
Sonic felt groggy a bit, as if he had barely slept or had eaten too much. There was a mix of confusion that invaded him, a lack of awareness of either situation or surroundings that was very much unlike him. To move at the speed of sound was to be perceptive, to make quick decisions and to redirect thought and momentum on a dime. This was his whole deal, his modus operandi and so for him to not entirely know what was going on certainly did not bode well. Had been napping and someone came to talk to him? Was he in danger? He couldn't know, yet as his senses were brought back to their usual sharpness he did get some answers as he saw exactly who was there, talking to him.
Surge.
She had been a particular thorn in his side, a tenrec with strength, electrical powers and the uncanny ability to move perhaps just as fast as him. Like a dark doppelganger, a mean mimicry, she was meant to replace him due to a nefarious scheme by Dr. Starline...yet she had somehow her own agenda. Coming to realize about her presence and it all he knew that he ought to try to stop her now, then talk later as she was stubborn, amoral and downright destructive, which weren't traits associated to those would be reasoned with. He went especially fast at her if only to start the inevitable fight that would ensue, fully expecting her to counter, dodge or parry his own attack...yet instead she did something he most certainly did not expect.
She gyrated her waist.
“Stop and think carefully about what is going on, Sonic. Stop and listen to me, just look,” Surge said, her voice ever charged with that same smug attitude, that confidence that ever edged towards arrogance. Yet indeed she had a point as perhaps if she meant to annihilate him...she possibly had ample opportunity while he was...maybe asleep? He really wasn't certain about that one yet. Yet as he looked at her, still thinking about that surprisingly smooth and, admittedly, sexy move of hers, Sonic noticed that Surge was dressed quite differently than usual. “See something you like, hedgehog?”
He would not dare say, but there was definitely something different about Surge now that was pleasant to the eye. Gone were her cargo pants, her metallic boots, her sleeveless shirt and all that tough gal attire that she sported, all replaced by an ensemble that he'd never associate with her: a bedlah. Pantaloons of a blue so deep it might as well be black, a top that was low-cut and showcased her breasts in a tantalizing fashion, cleavage and all, along with golden jewelry that suited it all well in the form of rings, a tiara, bangles and a necklace. The one tiniest element which did seem the most out-of-place, yet also strangely sublime was a belly gem lodged inside her navel, something which seemed familiar and yet each time she gyrated her waist, doing so at random, the little sheen on its surface drew his gaze towards it.
“Took you long enough to notice that I'm pretty darn sexy,” Surge responded as Sonic wanted to answer back, to ask questions and yet his tongue was tied. Each waist gyration, like a low and slow spin of her hips which stretched her belly backward and forward, dulled him somehow and yet he couldn't quite figure out why. She was indeed beautiful like this, showing a side of herself that he certainly didn't suspect existed. Was this perhaps a different person? Had he come back inside the Arabian Nights? Was Shahra around, maybe? This would explain why she seemed to dance and act so differently...yet something inherent to him told that this was indeed the same Surge that had tried to kill him, the one who blamed him for her existence, her lack of past. It was a gut feeling, his instinct seldom tricking him when it came to such matters. “I bet you just want to look more and more, see if I got better moves~”
This took a turn to the sensual as the idea did bloom inside his mind that perhaps she could dance well dressed like this. This was an odd situation, one in which he couldn't figure if this was a dream, if he was still in the domain of reality. Yet as the waist gyrations went on to expand, those turned into full hip circles and he felt as if she was wrapping herself around him like a snake, placing him into the coils of her own beauty. He couldn't figure out why, his own thoughts getting a bit muddy, yet there was something intrinsically attractive to her now, as if he saw her truly for the first time. Her chest wobbling just a little from her motions, how smooth her flesh looked, that confidence in her eyes granting her an especially effective appeal...it looked like she knew exactly what she was doing and enjoyed it immensely, which was an infectious sentiment as Sonic really couldn't help himself but stare.
“That's right, why fight it? I'm a gorgeous babe and you can't help yourself, right?” Surge said, that attitude of hers not going anywhere despite her new vestments as she beckoned to him with one finger, inviting him to admire while also teasing him. She was still definitely herself, cocky and direct but the further she moved the more Sonic couldn't indeed do anything else but gaze deeply. There was a certain magnetism to her as her own beauty was enhanced, all that gold shimmering and glimmering on her while those hips rotations went on to occasionally push that belly gem forward, making it glisten in a way that proved...addictive. “I'm certain you'd love nothing more than for this to go on forever...wouldn't you?”
There was an almost cruel tone to that remark, yet this only incensed Sonic further into staring as there was a raw appeal to the way she talked. As if they both knew this was a bad idea, something dangerous and forbidden and yet they couldn't really do otherwise. At least that's how he felt, remembering how they fought both on physical and moral grounds. He had won and she certainly had planned revenge...yet he most assuredly did not expect her to go in this fashion. Seducing him, dancing so wonderfully...
“Why don't you get on your knees to have a better view? It's called belly dancing, you know?” Surge said as she went on to stop her motion right her and then, placing one foot forward as she then used that change in stance to do one undulation from bottom to top, then top to bottom, from her waist to her torso and then back. It created a wave that simply sent shivers down Sonic's spine as he unwittingly got down on his knees, needing to look up to better admire Surge now. “Good boy. It's so easy to do as you're told, isn't it?”
The way she made it sound felt a little humiliating. He did have his own pride to consider, especially given who this was that talked to him this way...yet she seemed so tall now, so imposing. She towered over him, her presence placing a shadow over his own being, which only magnified her own allure. She went on to sway her hips from left to right, a pendulum motion that made it so the light caught that belly gem of hers in a regular fashion, timed in such a way that it was easy to notice a pattern, even with his own foggy brain. Those ample, curvaceous hips of hers were splendid, downright intoxicating as things began to start spinning now, a light case of vertigo beginning to take form.
“Getting dizzy, are we? You just need to focus on something to keep your balance. Concentrate on me~” Surge said, her tone a little more authoritative as her grin began to widen a bit, as if she couldn't keep her expression straight, savvy to a joke that she hadn't shared yet. Yet as Sonic followed her advice, he could indeed see why he was so dazed: because it wasn't he that spun, but rather the world. There were light shades of green, spirals behind Surge that concentrated on her as they spun around and around...around and around...around and around...just like her hips moved left and right...left and right...left and right...Too many elements to keep track of, yet indeed her own suggestion proved to keep things steady somehow as he gazed at her and only at her...much to his own appreciation. “You love hearing me talk this way, talking down to you and telling you what to do, uh?”
It was a hard pill to swallow, a fact that he couldn't openly admit yet in the sanctity of his own mind, no matter how hard it was to properly think, he could answer her: yes. Yes he did somewhat enjoy it, discovering a new aspect of himself as she occasionally sucked her belly in and then pushed it out, keeping the swaying steady despite it all. He couldn't get enough of it, loving this moment as the realization he was on his knees in front of a bitter enemy who was seducing him, dancing in an exotic fashion made it seem all the better. Was this who he really was? Why he never really figured out romance? Because he was looking for someone like her of all people? It didn't make much sense, yet any counter-argument was somewhat pulled in by that gem inside her navel and then transformed into attracting as she turned those kind of flutters into full rolls.
“The bright hero, the savior of Mobius, all too easily brought down by a pretty woman like me...pathetic, isn't it?” Surge continued, her mean streak only getting bigger as she took one step forward, getting closer to him. Her belly rolls were calculated, meant to tantalize and to make him swoon as himself felt the world undulate alongside her, as if it answered to her. The spirals behind kept getting brighter, yet so was she as it threatened to swallow him. Could it be that she was beating him with belly dancing...and that he was loving every single moment of it? “Completely at my mercy, under my power, legitimately hypnotized and loving every single moment of it. The great Sonic...finally realizing how superior I am to him as he's being defeated by mere belly rolls~”
It sounded ridiculous, downright absurd and yet she was obviously telling the truth as she went on to twist one hip to the front yet kept the belly rolls upcoming. They were even going faster as she then brushed her hips to the other side and kept this movement ongoing. More than that, she framed it with her hands, her golden rings shining and yet what was brighter, more mesmerizing than anything else was that belly gem. It dawned on him that he was completely vulnerable, that the spirals and that getup were indeed putting him deeply into a trance and that he could do naught to stop it...because he did enjoy it thoroughly.
“You get it now, don't you? I've beaten you, completely and utterly. The moment you realized I'm dominating you and you enjoyed it is when you lost~” Surge said, taking one more step as she grew almost to gigantic levels in Sonic's own perception. Her belly was perhaps half-a-meter away from his eyes, from his face...from his lips. They trembled, an innate desire going on to ignite and yet it needed to be said, to be explained to him as his mind was in shamble. She was an anchor as her motions sometimes came dangerously close to his own visage...and he adored that. “You know full well that I'm the only one who can make you feel that. So to others you might be a hero, an overall good guy...but now to me you're something different because, as I said earlier, you'd do anything to keep this going...you know what you are, don't you”
He did and yet didn't. Words were so hard to conjure, concepts so difficult to imagine. Nothing else mattered but her dance and beauty which threatened to swallow him whole. The tenrec was completely owning and shaping up his own senses, even down to his cognition as he felt the pulsation of the spirals behind on his flesh and quills. There was no ego now, no particular hesitation and yet he had no direction now, his flesh perhaps just as weak and pliable as his own spirit was.
“You need me to say it out loud, yeah? Very well, listen very carefully: you're my slave~” Surge said and automatically that made it true. The agony he was supposed to feel from this crushing defeat was instead replaced with bliss as Sonic smiled awkwardly, yet without the possibility to stop himself. She shimmied her hips, shaking them so fast that it produced lighting as by now he knew that this was the final blow, the relinquishing of everything that mattered to the one whose role was as clear as day now. “I'm your mistress, Sonic, your innate superior, the goddess you worship and adore. It's always been true, but now that you've seen the light I want you to make sure it's written deep down inside your being, in your soul. Obey me and kiss my belly, clean that hypnotic gem with your tongue~”
Whatever little spark of rebellion, of resistance was destroyed by just a glimmer of that belly gem as Sonic moved forward and did as he was told. To be in such a position, to be vanquished in this way was ecstatic as he couldn't believe how satisfying, how pleasurable it was. He should be ashamed, downright ruptured and broken, yet instead he felt more alive than ever before. Her flesh tasted good, divine even, the light sweat being like ambrosia to him as he then polished the gem as if to make it so it would shine even more to properly entrance and enthrall him further. He was lost and yet found as Surge grinned massively as she looked at him with pure smug joy on her face.
“Oh yeah, this never gets old~” Surge said, appreciative of this subservient Sonic as all of this had begun with a desire for vengeance...one that she got not only on him but also on her “creator”: Dr. Starline. Stealing his Warp Topaz, actually learning from how he used to control her with hypnosis, traveling the world to see what might work and observing the best in terms of manipulations gave her all that she needed to properly claim victory over Sonic. To make him meet his death would not be enough, as he'd need to be aware that he had been rendered obsolete, that she had won on all fronts. Right now he couldn't fight, only worship as she recalled how self-righteous he had been...yet now he was only a supplicant and submissive little hedgehog who craved for his mistress, for this one masochistic streak that she had instilled within him. The spirals in his eyes, that dull smile all told of how he was indeed her slave...but then again he had been for a good while now. This was merely self-indulgence on her part, a little treat to herself as she might need to go ahead and defeat his friends eventually...but then again she loved destroying his ego and inducing him far too much as she rolled her eyes, sighed, smiled and then looked down at him. “I think it's time that you wake up now, for I'll make sure your conditioning will only get stronger and stronger again. You'll learn faster and faster each time...”
