Hello, hello, hello, dear viewers, it’s that time of the month again. Time for release.
Behold an important character to Rod Garth’s upcoming spinoff series Shades of Green.
Rod’s archenemy, science-terrorist Carl Bell.
Carl Bell was born into a wealthy family of German shepherds (of mostly Austrian and German descent), whose choice of tutor for young Carl was very poorly thought out.
As a result, even as he developed a potent working knowledge of biology and genetics, he grew up convinced that eugenics are a legitimate science.
…He REALLY didn’t take well to people pointing out how wrong he is. Which kicked off an obsession with proving he’s right, and rubbing people’s faces in it, no matter what it took.
Having been active for a while, Carl Bell has a noticeable reputation…one he doesn’t particularly like. Due to his beliefs (on eugenics and other topics) and questionable fashion choices, he has a reputation for being a Nazi, one he loathes and constantly claims isn’t true (even when doing stuff that really doesn’t help his case).
Despite this, he’s not above taking on henchmen from fascist organizations and hate groups, though this is generally because most people generally don’t want to work for him.
Carl can be quite cunning, and he’s very skilled in genetic engineering and manipulation. His variety of creatures, poisons and plagues leave him a highly formidable villain, even if his penchant for gaffs, ego, and his own foolishness tend to shoot him in the foot.
While he and Rod are very much enemies, Carl noticeably hates Rod more than Rod hates him. In fact, their whole battle started when Carl Bell became convinced Rod’s promiscuity would result in a ‘generation of morons ending the world’ and attempted to kill him, he hated the alligator even more when even Rod could see just how much of an ass Carl really is.
Ironically enough, despite Carl being smarter than Rod in some areas, he’s considered by some to be dumber than Rod, since Rod’s skills don’t result in one HELL of a case of cognitive dissonance.
