Fun fact about Tuataras, They aren't lizards. They're their own clade of reptiles as different from lizards as turtles. Some of the major differences are that their teeth directly connect to their jaws, they have no external ears and they have a third 'eye' on the top of their head (it can only see light and dark, it can't see shape or colour).
