Life can be unexpected at the most peculiar times of anyone's life, especially if it regards their ancestry......
After a certain fiasco concerning a YT video, a few students of his made a "challenge" to the strongest of fighters from anywhere. Ken, of course, made a comment that the "challenge" wasn't real and told his students to not goof around. Unfortunately, many comments on how much nerve the dingo had "challenging" fighters out of his league; jeering and calling him a braggart. Ken, of course, ignored all of that and didn't let anything of what they said get to him since he knew the truth. As did his family and friends.
One day, while out with his son and daughter, a group who saw the vid immediately recognized him and accosted him. Though Ken calmly said the "challenge" wasn't real and he was trying to spend time with his children, the group kept antagonizing him. It wasn't until they tried picking a fight with him that things went badly. Though the hoodlums fought with all their might to teach the dingo a "lesson" about "being out of his league", Ken was able to dodge and block any attack that came his way.
It was when his son and daughter, Bren and Jen, tried to stop the leader, that pushed their father to the limit. In a fit of rage, the leader of the hoodlums pushed both children out of his way.... which caused Jen to scrape her elbow. Time seemed to stand still as everyone around looked in abject horror, the leader himself shocked that he hurt a child. As one of the members called him out, the leader tried to say it was an accident..... but that meant very little to the older dingo. Being the protective father he was, seeing his children hurt... made him see red.
It all happened so fast that no one still knows what happened; as fast as lightning, Ken punched the hoodlum leader with all his might. Now, Ken was strong, so someone flying away after one strike wasn't a surprise.... it was the fact that actual lightning shot out of his fist! Needless to say, Ken was stunned at what had happened. Remembering he was in public, Ken gathered his kids and hurried home. Sometime later, Ken received a surprise visit from someone the Aussie didn't expect; the High Prime herself, Ambar!
The dingo had met the ursine once before, she was a very passionate lover, but she wasn't there for pleasantries. As it turned out, someone recorded footage of Ken's fight with the hoodlums, especially the part with the lightning. Much to his shock, Ambar revealed she had a hunch he had power because of his ancestry. The High Prime began to explain the history of the Primes and the Narakhan, to which Ken was skeptical but listened nonetheless. It was here that Ambar admitted that there was something she and the older Primes never told anyone.... there was a thirteenth Clan! The Crest of Storm.
The reason why the Thirteenth wasn't known by many in the circle was that he once allowed his emotions to get the best of him; it caused a great disaster. Filled with regret, he disbanded his Clan and went into hiding. Though he vanished, Ambar knew he settled down and began a family.... all of which were Ken's own ancestors! He was the heir to the Storm Clan. This was too much for Ken, who told the High Prime to leave, which she politely did, but not before leaving a card for information.
Upon eavesdropping in, Bren and Jen were actually thrilled to hear their daddy had powers; this basically made him a real superhero. After seeing his children so enthusiastic and the fact that he had followers like the Primes did.... Ken decided to call Ambar. The two met up and Ken decided to rebuild the Storm Clan from the ground up and become the current Crest until he could find another. Ambar went on to say that he had to seek out those he thought worthy to learn the power of Storm.
But before all that..... he had to face all twelve of the current Crests! The High Prime stated that whether or not he rebuilt the Storm Clan, the Narakhan would still go after him and everyone he cared for, so he had to test his strength and power against the Twelve Crests to prove himself. His first opponent: Ambar.
With his children, and Ambar's, as spectators; the two took their positions in a ring Ambar had made for sparring. Dressed in his blue Gi and white pants with black line, Ken carried out his signature weapon: the three-section staff. Dressed in her own Chinese-Esque attire, Ambar carried with her, her own signature weapon: a spear. As the fight began.... it was evident that Ambar was anything but just a pretty face!
Ken found himself near overwhelmed by the use of Ambar's power combined with her combat skills; this, however, didn't deter the dingo. Thinking quickly, Ken was able to focus his new powers and be on common ground with the High Prime. To say Ambar was skilled in combat was an understatement, in fact, she barely showed emotion as her weapon clashed with Ken's. Though it appeared Ambar had the upper hand, Ken was able to pull through.
After using her movement against her, Ken was able to catch the High Prime's spear, disarm her, then pin her to the ground; thus granting him his first victory. After he was declared victor.... Ken fainted from exhaustion and power overuse. When he woke, he found himself in a large, queen-sized bed. His children by his side and happy to see him awake, along with Ambar and her daughter and son, Naerie and Sirio. He had been out for nearly three days and his children were scared out of their mind thinking he had died. After some reassurance, Ambar had Naerie take the children to see a movie whilst she nurses Ke back to health.
Once the children were gone, Ambar stated while he was lucky in their fight; the other Crests will evaluate his fighting style and put him through harder tests. Ken wasn't worried, he accepted the challenge with open arms. Happy with his decision, Ambar left for a brief period of time, only to return.... dressed as a scantily-clad nurse. Turns out, the fight had turned the High Prime on so much, she waited until the dingo woke up to have "fun" with him.
Ken’s journey to become the 13 Crest had begun, the challenges before him were difficult….. it for now, the only thing he had to worry about was Ambar lust for him and taking him all night long!
