When the leader of his clan died in a fight a new one had to take his place. Lyoxion instantly signed up for the role. In the Shadow clan a leader is chosen by the last man standing in a circle of death. All who enter must fight until the end, meaning only one can remain living. Lyoxion stepped in first and was greeted with swears and yells of older Raqions. They said a leader rank should not belong to a child and how much of an egotistical fuck he was for thinking he could win. Lyoxion remained calm by all of this as more raqions entered the circle. He simply gave them a death stare and counted the amount of raqions. The rules were explained as no raqion was allowed to use their elemental power and should fight bare handed. Then the gong rang the fight would start.

One by one they all jumped for Lyoxion. Planning on crushing the pre-adult first. Lyoxion knew they would aim for him first and had made a tactic before hand. One by one they we being slayed by the Raqion. From having their heads twisted to being scratched opened left bleeding or brutally beaten to death. In the end Lyoxion stood eye to eye with a big tall 7ft Raqion. The two fought hard as the big Raqion kept slamming Lyoxion around oe into the ground. In a moment of change Lyoxion climbed up the giant and started scratching his eyes. The big Raqion tried to shake Lyoxion off and scarred the per adults skull in the process. Lyoxion being tossed off didn't surrender however. He made it this far and wouldn't give up. He attacked the giant in its blind spot and started to brutally scratch his neck open. The giant collapsed as Lyoxion kept tearing through the giants flesh. By seeing this no other Raqion dared to face Lyoxion in the circle of death.

The battle was over as Lyoxion claimed triumph over the circle of death. Covered in blood and scars Lyoxion was announced to be the new leader in waiting. He was first washed and his wounds would be treated. He would then be send off to Noracri be accepted by the dark god himself. He was lead to the ritual hall way where he would be placed in the center. Elders and other ritual specialists would rather around him. They started to cast an incantation as their voices echoed in the ritual hall. The circle like mark on the floor started to light up as noise started to infiltrate Lyoxions mind. It was a painful process as a burning feeling filled his body. A nagging pain yet satisfying at the same time. Lyoxion now met with a grater version of the voice he had always heard in his mind. The voice of their god spoke to him and marked him with his sign. The ritual caused the big scar on Lyoxions back and in the end he was the new Shadow clan leader.
