Sang finds love in a unicorn just as grumpy as himself, Dr Sunshine Unit who belongs to my old pal Burd.
After marrying they find ways to have children, through the means of a surrogate mother, and their firstborn here is Solar Fusion.
Just wanting approval while feeling the pressure of expectations from the unicorn side of the family, who doesn't approve of the mixing of genes in their pure bloodline, but takes up the challenge to try shape Solar into something less embarrassing.
His special talent turning out to be siphoning magic from other ponies to strengthen his own reserves becoming a bit of a complication, as that's highly frowned upon in modern Equestrian society. His grandparents setting out to help him hide this talent and the changes it has on his body the more he uses it. Not even his parents know of this.
