As Karange goes through his old things, he comes around a old hazmat suit he wore for a job. As he puts it on, he realizes that the tank he used is not as good as it used to be.

It was that time of the day that happens every year when Karnage, a black-furred dragon wolf with red and blue horns, sharp teeth and claws, a purple snout, and yellow eyes, was going through his old things in his basement just to see if any of the stuff he had for years are something that he should be concerned of. He made three empty boxes, one to keep, one to throw away, and one to sell. The sell box was already full, which included some old toys, equipment that he never used before, books that he already read or already has copies of, and video games that he got bored of. The throw away stuff was just full of trash, broken glass, and food that he didn’t even know was down there. Finally, the keep box only had a couple of things inside like jewelry and valuable items. Those are the ones that he’ll make sure to never give away since he’s love for expensive stuff is what makes him greedy and motivating to steal more things. As he digs through his old boxes, he notices that one of them had something written on the front.
So he wipes the dust from the top of the box, coughing and gagging in the process, just to see what it reads and that’s when the memories come flying into his head. It was his old hazmat suit he wore back then when he was trying to steal radioactive chemicals for some gold that his dealer was offering, and it was a lot to have Karnage risk his life for some. He wasn’t sure why it was down here in the first place or when it was the last time he wore the poor suit. “No way will I get rid of this.” He said, confirming to himself that the suit stays with him and his other prizes. But in his heart, he wanted to look back at the old days and get that feeling back into his mind again. So he rips the tape off with one of his sharp claws, making that sliding sound that happens when cutting through boxes. Then, he opens the box and it reveals a dark purple suit with hazard logos and his name tag on the chest. Though it looked dusty from the gas mask that sits on top of his bodysuit. “I should clean this up before I wear it.” Right next to him was the duster he brought down with him so he could clean up the place a little before going through his things. He wipes the mask from it’s glass eyes to it’s breathing filtration device, making sure that the dust doesn’t cover or clog up the important parts. Once that was done, he grabs the gas mask and places it on his face. Though it was still dirty and a bit hard to see, he can smell the great memories of success and nostalgia. He takes the mask off and puts it on one of the closed up boxes so he could take out his full body rubber suit with gloves and rubber boots.
“Wow, just as I remembered it.” He said, pleased and delighted to see it again. Karange couldn’t wait until he could put it on. He unzips the zipper from the back of the suit all the way until it was enough to put his furry legs through it. Once his feet make it out from the leg holes, he puts his arms through the rubbery sleeves until his paws are shown. The hard part about a suit with the zipper is that it’s difficult zipping it back up all the way. But knowing how many times he’s put on the suit, he knows exactly how it goes. With his right paw, he grabs onto the metal piece and slowly pulls it upwards until it reaches its ending point. “Perfect, time for the other things.” By that, he means his boots in which he puts on first and then his gloves that easily still fit him. Before he could put on his mask again, there was something missing. He remembered that he had an air tank, one that was very important when traveling through dangerous gasses and smoke. In the corner of the basement was an oxygen tank with it’s very own hose. It looked old and rusty, but as he got closer to the tank, he could tell that it still had air left inside. “This will do.” He says, picking up the air tank before strapping it onto his back like he did back then. He attaches the other end of the hose into his gas mask, giving him the chance to finally place it over his face. It felt good and comfortable, now that he was able to wear his old suit again. “If only I get to use this baby again….” Karnage hopefully said. The last thing that he did was to turn on the oxygen tank since the air inside was getting thin and low. Twisting the knob from behind, he made sure that it was enough to keep him breathing well and alive. But as he was just to let go, the valve had snapped off unexpectedly. “Oops.” The dragon wolf lets out in shock as he realizes that the air tank just broke. The air hisses uncontrollably with no telling when it will end. Though Karange just believed that it will be okay since it’s nothing too serious. He can just let it go on until it runs out or when he wants to get out of his suit again.
Later, he finds out that breaking the air tank can mean serious consequences. It felt like at first that he was getting room inside the suit strangely, like he was getting skinny. Not to mention the cold air breezing onto his furry belly. Once he looks down at himself, that’s when he knows something is wrong. From the looks of it, his suit was inflating with air, like he was the one inflating from the inside. His torso was the first to show these changes, puffing and blowing up like a balloon. “Gah! The suit is inflating!?” He said in awe, poking on his rubbery ballooning suit just to feel nothing but air. The suit was beginning to round out, turning into a giant round ball with his legs spread apart and his arms on the sides. Both in which they also began to swell up to the point they couldn’t bend or walk. “No, no, no! I got to get this hose off of me!” No matter how much he tried, he still couldn’t move his arms as they connected with his giant orb-shaped torso. It reminded him of that time a friend of his turned him into a swelling balloon without the suit, just so he could lay and snuggle on his belly. Someday Karange would get his payback on that human for it. As it became clear that it was impossible for Karange to escape out of his fate, his suit was so huge that his arms and legs sank into it, making him into a giant, round, and immobile ball.
He wiggles his paws and his feet with helplessness. The thought of having his suit inflated really flusters him and his horns flame and smoke up. “I can’t….move……” He grunts and groans, seeing if he can somehow roll his way in the basement. But with objects and boxes blocking him, it became an idea that went down the drain. That’s when he decided that he should be fine with it since it wasn’t his body that wasn’t a balloon. Maybe it felt good, pleasure, and maybe motivates him to do more of this stuff. So he just accepts his fate and huffs with joy. “Well, when I see that human again, I’m gonna squish the crap out of him.” In his words, he’s going to make sure that he gets revenge on his human friend for blowing him up.
