Soooooo... This is my first try at a story ever, so i really appreciate constructive critics i might get, feel free to leave up anything!

It was just the start of the day, the light of the sun made that pretty clear to a couple living in a quiet city, their house being rather big for only two feral tenants, although the two tenants of that house apparently had things covered, since the girl was by that time 3 months pregnant…

A rather quiet yet effective alarm clock made its work at being annoying at the time 7AM came up, luckily the alarm was quickly shut off “Morning Syd” said in a soft voice a blue feral husky who was just waking up and noticed that his mate Syd was still asleep with the blankets still on top “She’s still asleep” he said as he covered her up completely with the blankets, careful to not wake her up, the husky knew his mate hasn’t been sleeping very well lately due to the precious cargo in her womb, the husky was being as sneaky as he could while trying to leave their room until… “Hmm…Morning Dyl” said the cat Syd who just woke up from a good night of sleep, which are rare now, she moved away the blanket the husky placed on her and stretched “Hi! Morning Syd… soooooooo! I hope I didn’t woke you up, sorry babe” he said being a bit worried, luckily for him, the feline said “Nah!” “So it was the alarm” said the husky “Nah! It was just the sun! You didn’t woke me up, stop worrying super dad” she said chuckling a bit “Hahaha” said the husky in a sarcastic tone of voice “you know I’ve always been worried about you since I want nothing but the best for my beautiful kitty” “Yeah I know, buy I know you very well Dyl, and you should also close the pages on our laptop, `How to prepare for birth´ `What should an expecting mother do and not do during pregnancy´” Syd said as she glared at the husky with her sky blue eyes “Okay, yeah I just want to be prepared for anything, this is something new for both of us, I also know you very well and I’ve noticed that you’re a bit more careful in general” he said trying to imitate Syd by glaring at her with his red eyes “It’s just my maternal instincts honey” she said as she was getting out of the bed and walking next to Dylan, nuzzling under his head and then kissing his cheek “Guess this is just what first time parents go through” She said to Dylan, as she then ran towards the toilet and started to throw up “Shit” said the husky, in a worried tone, he also ran to the toilet where his mate was, he couldn’t do much other than just gently pat and rub her back with his paw “Morning sickness again huh?” “Y-Yeah” she said trying to not cry and keep throwing up “I’ll go get you some water” he said leaving his wife to get her a glass of water “Thanks babe, love you” she said “I love you too” he said yelling as he walked downstairs.

A few hours passed, they both had breakfast which luckily the smell didn’t made Syd throw up… again! They both took a shower, now at 1PM they’re both on in their Livingroom watching a movie together
“Aww Dyl, look at their kid” Said Syd “Yup, it’s a little lion cub, what’s with it?” Said Dylan, not quite getting what his mate meant to say “The cub looks just like them, it makes me think” she said as she slowly closed her eyes “How would our puppy…kitten…uhh” she stood there still thinking until Dylan answered “Pittens” “What?” Said Syd not fully understanding what he said “Pittens, it’s what you get when you join the word puppy and kitten, pitten, that’s what our crossbreed should be named” Dylan said chuckling at his new `Invention´ that he was probably going to use till the end of his life “Yeah…Pitten, pittens sounds good, smart pup, but I was thinking, what would our kid, pitten look like?” “Good question” said the husky, starting to think about the possibilities.
“Well I’m a husky with blue fur, a darker shade of blue on the tip of my tail… I also got my paw birthmark on my shoulder, the tip of my ears has black fur and I got red pupils, oh also the outlines of darker color on my fur, so…” He said describing himself and going back to think of the possibilities “I have a color cream fur mainly on my chest floof, belly and the paws, a lighter shade of brown on random spots of my body like tip and middle of my tail, ears and muzzle” “your beautiful sky blue pupils” Said the husky interrupting Syd and flirting with her at the same time, making her giggle “And my beautiful sky blue pupils… with all of that in mind, how would our pitten look like? It’s hard to think about it ugh!” she said a bit frustrated yet excited to find out what their bundle of joy will look like “well we got about 6 months left until we find out if I’m right” he looked back at Syd as he put a paw on her slightly big belly and started to gently rub it “crazy to think we’re going to four little paws running around the house” he fantasized for a while, clearly being extremely happy about this “yeah, crazy to think we’re going to be parents, especially after you knotted your wife and got her pregnant huh?” she said teasing Dylan a bit “well y-yeah b-but… you enjoyed it too” they both ended up blushing and smiling warmly at each other “yeah I did enjoyed the knot…wait, now that I think of it, we won’t know how our pitten will look like but we can know if were having a mini-Dylan or a mini-Syd” she said to her mate, the husky being a bit confused and trying to figure out what she meant, until “oh! You mean?” “Yup” she said quickly “We got an ultrasound date later today” “oh that, I was going to say If you meant to do one of those internet quiz’s about the baby’s gender” he said in a silly way, scratching the back of his head as he chuckled a bit “Silly” said Syd, giggling a bit at his commentary “We got an ultrasound date at… 5Pm I believe, so we should get ready just in case” “Yeah…after the movie” said the husky “Yeah, I was craving popcorns anyway”

Hours passed, it was now 5PM, Syd luckily didn’t throw up, and was feeling wonderful, the clinic was rather close so they decided to walk to the clinic… after making a few bets on how many pup…pittens they’ll have…
“So Syd you think it’s weird WERE having kids? I mean you’re a cat, and I’m a dog, isn’t that weird once you think about it?” Said the husky walking on the side of the road, next to him was Syd, enjoying the walk before it was too hard to move “Just a bit, not like we care what others say about us, love comes in all shapes and sizes… and species, come on, and were almost there“ She said. After walking for a bit less than 7 minutes they arrived to the clinic, Dylan walked a bit faster to open up the door for his pregnant mate “Ladies first” he said “Thanks but I’m sure I can open a door even if I’m pregnant” She said trying to mock Dylan “I know, just wanting to be a gentleman” He said as he blew a kiss to Syd that she made as if she grabbed it on the air and put it on her cheek “Thanks my knight in shining armor, now let’s get this over with and find out how many pittens here having” she said as she walked in the clinic and waited for her turn “I’m glad you’re using the name pitten” Said the husky as he walked to Syd and sat down next to her, giving her belly a little rub.
After waiting for a bit of time, an orange fox wearing a white bandana around her neck that had a red cross came out and called out a name “Mistress Syd?” The cat then looked up and said “Here!” she said in an excited tone of voice, poking the husky´s cheek “I know I know babe, I’m coming” he said giggling as he stood up and walked with Syd to the room where the orange fox came from, it was the typical doctor´s room, a couple of chairs, a computer and another door “Wait here for a moment please” said the fox, as the couple got inside the room and sat down, Syd holding her belly in a protective sort of way while Dylan was looking around due to his curious nature “Do all medical places have that smell to alcohol and metal?” he said, still looking around then stopping to see Syd “All good kitty?” he asked a bit worried about her “Y-Yeah it’s just t-that I’ve never liked h-hospitals and things like that” she said being a bit nervous about the whole situation, the husky gently puts his paw on her back and says “I can’t blame you, I don’t really like places like this, you know I hate injections more than anything, I promise it will be fine, she will just put some gel on your belly and look around for our pitten” “Thanks babe you are right, it’s just gel and that’s it” Said the cat, the small orange fox came out of the door and called them so they got in to the other room with her, the couple followed the fox into the other room, quite different from the one they were in, there was a turned off monitor next to a rather comfy looking bed, the small fox tapped the bed and said “Syd right? Please get on the bed” Syd nodded and got onto the bed, laying down on her side and stretching, Dylan walked behind her and stood next to Syd “Hmmm this is quite comfy… I like it, babe, can we buy one” she said to the husky trying to make puppy eyes like Dylan would do “Okay nice try, need to work a bit on the puppy eyes, and I’m pretty sure we can’t buy any type of hospital equipment for personal use” “Awwww” Said Syd, meanwhile the fox came back in the room with a bottle of gel and a razor “What’s the razor for?” said the husky a bit curious like always “Oh I’m going to shave a bit of the fur on her belly, it will make it easier to apply the gel and to watch the baby or babies” she said putting the gel to the side and turning on the razor, gently passing it on Syd´s belly and cutting her fur, not enough to expose her skin, Syd stayed there on her side while Dylan without knowing curled his large tail and placed it next to Syd, as if he was protecting her, it was a natural reaction of him “Well… hopefully it will grow again quickly” said Syd, not moving too much to let the fox do her job, she finished shortly after that comment and she put away the razor, grabbing the bottle of gel and grabbing a good amount of It with her paw and walking next to Syd “The gel can be cold” She said as she then started to gently rub the belly of Syd leaving a light layer of the gel across her belly, the gel was indeed cold, making Syd feel a bit uncomfortable and making her shiver a bit “I-It is a bit c-cold” “Yeah I figured” Said the husky, putting his large paw on Syd´s belly to comfort her, as the fox put the probe on her belly and starting it to move it around, the monitor was turned on and giving the image of Syd’s womb, the fox kept moving the probe looking around until… “Ah! There they are” she said “Really?” Said Dylan and Syd at the same time, looking at the monitor “uhhh… what are we exactly watching” The husky asked looking at the monitor but only seeing black and white spots “Oh right! Sorry, forgot to tell you, congratulations, you are having triplets” said the fox “T-T-Triplets!?” said both Dylan and Syd looking at each other, tears starting to form on their eyes, they both turned the attention to the monitor, the fox walked to the monitor and started to point the shapes that were the pittens inside Syd´s womb “Yes, triplets, see? These three black spots with a white outline are the cubs, here’s the head and here’s the tail of one of them” she said while pointing at the monitor, Syd just looked at the monitor, with a warm smile on her face, a small tear falling down her cream colored cheek “There they are, our pittens” Syd and Dylan snuggled together, meanwhile the fox took out a tissue and started to remove the gel from her belly “Would you two like to have a picture of the ultrasound” “Totally!” Said the husky “As you wish, well you two can go to the other room please” The husky helped Syd to get out of the bed, when they were both in the other room they looked at each other, smiling “I love you” Said the husky before bopping Syd´s nose with his, Syd in retuned snuggled against his chest “Fuck… I love you more puppy!” she said still a bit teary, the fox came to the room where the couple was “Take a seat please” they both did as they said “Your triplets are in great condition, so is the mother” “Kinda” said Syd “Still have morning sickness and even the smell of some foods makes me want to throw up” “Its normal, expecting mothers can have morning sickness by the end of their first trimester, which is your case, it should go away soon” explained the fox “Good, thanks, is there anything else we should know? Said the cat “Actually yeah, and you can take my word, I’m a mother and expecting another one” “Congrats” said Syd “then yeah we can take the word from someone who is already a mom, what should we know?” “A couple of things actually, some more obvious than others like craving during all of the pregnancy” explained the fox “Can confirm that” said the husky while hugging his mate “Also, on the theme of food, the mothers tend to eat more during pregnancy, which is fine, Syd can eat what she craves since her and her cubs are doing just fine” “Yes” Syd whispered happily “Hormonal changes, during pregnancy the mother produces more hormones than usual, so expect her to be more emotional and hormones might even make her sex drive crazy” “They both blushed and looked at each other for a while, before Dylan asked “So that means we can…” The husky got interrupted by the fox “Engage in sexual acts? Yeah, but be careful as her belly grows” “Yeah yeah! Totally! I won’t hurt her in any way” “You should also help around the house, you two can get regular checkups if you want or think it’s necessary, so far everything looks normal but it’s better to be sure about the health of the mother and babies” she told to the couple, they both nodded and stood up, thanking the fox for her service and advise, Syd went out of the clinic first, the husky quickly following behind after he pays the checkup, they both walked to their home, being almost glued together on their way back, Syd´s head rubbing softly against the husky´s chest, arriving at home at 7PM, the sun was already almost hidden and the sky full of bright stars, they both got in their cozy home and quickly went to their bed together, Dylan lays down first and Syd takes advantage to hop on top of him and start to lick his face, Dylan started to chuckle at the feeling of her wet and warm tongue on his face “Hey stop! Or ill lick your face back” he said showing her his tongue in a playful way, then they both locked their eyes together, lost in each other´s sight they both said “I love you” they both closed her eyes and gave each other a romantic and deep kiss, Syd sneaking a bit of her tongue, maybe her hormones were already acting up on her “Ill bite that playful tongue of yours” Said the husky in a joking way “Only if I let you” said Syd, rubbing her face against his…
They both ended up cuddling together for a while, Syd´s cravings doing their job and asking for food, after a delicious dinner on each other´s end, they went back to their bed, Syd layer on her side and rested a paw on her belly “Nini babe and babies” she said as she closed her eyes “Nini Syd and Pittens” said the husky, he closing his eyes too and giving Syd a kiss on her head, and wrapping his paw and tail on her belly, both of them quickly drifted on to sleep and waited for a new day to start…
