A reinterpretation of the character 'Kumoko' from the Isekai light novel 'So I'm a Spider, so what?' who, rather than being reincarnated into a Fantasy realm as a lowly dungeon spider, instead is transported and transformed into one instead, much to her shock and horror.
Being intrigued by the concept of an Isekai TF, I kinda fell off 'So I'm a Spider' because of the direction it took, steering away from being a simple survival story of a human girl having to come to terms with becoming and living as a monstrous spider. But that's just my opinion.
Basically my first "proper" TF sequence, I realize I did not pick an easy subject to start with as a beginner (yeah, spider is a weird one). After a frustrating art bloc, finally committed to and got this over with. Just so happens to also kinda fit with the season.

Kumoko, not Kumako. ;)
Nice sequence though! Not a fan of the manga design and always imagined her as a regular real life spider but still nicely done! :)
Not an easy TF indeed!
I did fall off the story too, though mostly because Yen Press thought it'd be a good idea to translate the names of characters instead of leaving them the way they are. So now I'm gonna have to wait for my Japanese to become good enough to continue reading the original. ^^
Btw, not the first time Yen Press has done questionable changes, so by now I've completely stopped supporting those guys.

Annoying, thought I spellchecked here before posting (looks like I only remembered to alter my dA and Pixiv uploads). Ahh well. Edited and fixed now.
I'm not well read enough on the subject of the publisher, so can't side with you or offer an opinion. I mainly had more problems with the story itself and how it was written, which caused me to stop. The premise at its most basic, was all that drew me in. That is, a girl becoming a spider and having to deal with it.

Interesting. To me it was the way the story was written and structured that really pulled me into the whole thing. Though the parts about the classmates were usually too long for my taste and I was just rooting for them to die off. XD
Btw, in case you don't plan on continuing anyway, you probably won't mind this spoiler. Especially since the "girl becoming a spider premise" drew you in, this could be a revelation that could disappoint you if you keep reading. (I enjoyed it though)
Kumoko wasn't a human girl before the reincarnation. She was an actual spider minding its own business in the classroom and when the explosion happened, the god that was sitting inside the classroom as well used the spider as a substitute for herself. In that process a small fraction of her soul and also her memories transferred to the spider which is why the spider thought it was a girl from the class.
