Fantastic as always and a great storyline! Sorry it didn't work out as well as you had hoped, but thank you for sharing what did turn out great!

If there's anything you can take from your "failure," it's that your failure is something that very few people could ever even attempt to do half as well as you did. I'm in awe, (and borderline jealous) or how well you blend and create your figures.

The "bug" is actually 3 different models. The body came from one model, the legs from another, and the skin overlay for the female character came from another. It was just a matter of lining things up and getting the colour and lighting to match. :)

That's where I fail miserably at. I HAVE to learn photoshop better if I'm ever going to produce any real fun anthro/animal TF's

These ones have minimal Photoshop. Just little touch-ups at the edge joins and nothing more. It's 99.6% just positioning the models and hiding the unwanted limbs or body parts. They are pretty close to raw one-off renders this time around. No layering or multiple renders.

Your renders look good. All the elements are there. My one suggestion is play around with lighting (angles and intensity) to create more interesting shadows and avoid that slightly flat look that a too general light source creates. The other thing is to play around with the reflectivity of the skin. Skin can look flat and lifeless, but some reflection or shine can make a REAL difference. Don't go too far or it starts to look like plastic.

Such a shame it didn't pan out. There aren't enough good invertebrate TFs out there.
