Kinda surprised I haven't used this title before, really!
At any rate. Owls like Mordecai are very sneaky and employ a range of tools in their mouse-hunting. It's totally a time-honored tradition and a practiced hunting technique and not owl shenanigans, honest. His usage of a string loop or sticky hand or anything of the sort is definitely something that's been going on for hundreds of years. Maybe it's a yoyo string. And he's doing the "walking the mouse"! Yes that's definitely it. :3
